When you think of this company think the phrase malpractice law suite. A good chance you will be filing one. From nurses that tell you to do x with medication when doing so is clearly dangerous and may kill the person. To promising you the moon to get you to sign up, saying this person will be the nurse and then getting dumped with another nurse while the company fails to keep its original promises. Edit: This post was not in error, sadly my better halfs family is still using you all. And since none of us trust your company after the lies Kelley sold us and then others within the company we are using my account. At least AJ is no longer with the company that is one danger removed.

The False Promises (The "Bait") During initial consultations, Soltice representatives painted a picture of comprehensive hospice care that would include: • Meal preparation for patients to ensure proper nutrition • Housekeeping and cleanliness maintenance to create a healing environment • Consistent daily visits from trained nursing staff • Complete care coordination including hospital transport and post-death arrangements • Family support to reduce caregiver burden during this difficult time The Harsh Reality (The "Switch") Once we signed their contract, the promised services evaporated completely: Meal Preparation: Never happened. Family left to handle all nutrition needs while paying for "comprehensive" care. Housekeeping: Zero assistance with cleaning or maintaining a sanitary environment for patients. Family forced to deep-clean entire house while managing two hospice patients. Consistent Care: After our patient returned home, Soltice staff disappeared for five consecutive days with no visits, no communication, no explanation. Care Coordination: When our loved one needed hospital pickup, I had to arrange transport myself. When she passed away, I personally had to call the funeral home - Soltice provided no guidance or support during this traumatic moment. Equipment Management: Medical equipment was abandoned at our home for days after death, with staff being unresponsive and unprofessional when contacted about pickup. Gaslighting and Manipulation When we expressed concerns about the complete lack of promised services, Soltice staff made us feel unreasonable for expecting what we were paying for. They positioned our legitimate complaints as unrealistic expectations, classic gaslighting behavior that exploits grieving families. Instead of acknowledging their service failures, they deflected responsibility and made us question whether our expectations were fair - despite their own initial promises of comprehensive support. Complete Abandonment During Crisis The most shocking aspect was their complete absence when we needed them most: • No support during medical emergencies requiring hospital transport • Zero guidance during the dying process when families need professional expertise • Immediate abandonment after death with no assistance coordinating next steps • Unprofessional behavior when contacted about basic service obligations Warning to Other Families Soltice Hospice operates by making elaborate promises to secure contracts, then systematically failing to deliver any meaningful service. They exploit the fact that grieving families are too overwhelmed to fight back effectively. What families actually need: • Consistent, professional nursing care and patient support • Reliable equipment delivery and maintenance • Guidance through the dying process and post-death arrangements • Genuine family support that reduces caregiver burden Soltice Hospice failed on every single aspect of professional hospice care. Choose a provider that will actually deliver the compassionate, comprehensive support your family deserves. Lack of Compassionate End-of-Life Care During our loved one's final week, Soltice administered medications without providing adequate explanation or emotional support. Our family member repeatedly expressed distress, saying "this is horrible," yet staff provided no guidance about what to expect or how to help her feel more comfortable. Professional hospice care should include clear communication about medications, continuous comfort assessment, and compassionate support for both patient and family during the dying process. Instead, we were left to witness our loved one's distress without understanding or professional guidance. The absence of empathetic, skilled end-of-life care during these final moments represents the most serious failure of their supposed "hospice" services.

Solstice did a great job taking care of my Mother-in-law as she passed. They were very easy to work with. Sofia Long was my Mother-in-law’s nurse, and she was so loving and caring. Her top priority was the comfort of my Mother-in-law. I can’t recommend Sofia enough. Use Solstice for this delicate time of life.
