About SOLENVIA Caregivers

SOLENVIA Caregivers is a non-medical home care agency serving Middletown, Connecticut and the surrounding region. The agency specializes in live-in care, 24-hour care, and hourly homemaker and companion care services, having served the local community for over 35 years.

The agency offers personalized service plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences. Services include live-in care for clients needing ongoing support five or more days per week, 24-hour care providing full-time supervision throughout day and night, and hourly care available seven or more hours per day on flexible shifts. All caregivers are bonded and insured employees of SOLENVIA rather than independent contractors, with coverage for general liability and workers' compensation insurance.

SOLENVIA coordinates caregiver placement through a thorough hiring process and offers families the opportunity to meet and interview potential caregivers before services begin. The agency provides transportation services to ensure reliable caregiver coverage and manages scheduling changes by finding compatible replacement caregivers with proper orientation to the client's specific needs. A dedicated Service Plan Manager maintains regular check-ins and ongoing communication with families throughout the duration of care.

The agency emphasizes enabling seniors to age in place within the comfort and familiarity of their own homes, promoting independence and dignity while reducing stress for families. In-home care allows for easier family visitation and consistent updates compared to facility-based alternatives. SOLENVIA maintains 24-hour on-call support available year-round to assist current clients and coordinate care for new clients.

Service plans are flexible and can be modified as care needs change. Clients may pause, resume, or end services at any time, with deposits fully refundable upon completion or cancellation of service. SOLENVIA accepts private pay and also works with long-term care insurance and the Connecticut Home Care Program for the Elderly (CHCPE) for eligible clients.

As a Social Service Coordinator specializing in geriatrics, I highly recommend HomeAides. I have referred multiple clients to their services and have heard many wonderful success stories from families and individuals alike. What truly stands out is their genuine compassion and dedication to finding the right caregiver match for each client. They take the time to understand the needs of both the client and the family, which makes a tremendous difference in quality of care. Another strength is their flexibility. If a caregiver is not the perfect fit, they are able to adjust and find another match — something many agencies simply do not have the staffing availability or versatility to do. Every staff member I have interacted with has been professional, responsive, and truly committed to providing excellent care. I cannot recommend HomeAides enough for families seeking reliable and compassionate home care support. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I needed live in care for my uncle. I needed it as soon as I could get it. Solenvia found people to help me out so my uncle could come home from the hospital within two days of my request. Their speed and the quality of the people they sent was exceptional. I would highly recommend Mary who was so good and caring and my uncle really appreciated her help too.

I think that the caregivers I had were good, they do need to educate on Joint replacement surgeries, I had 3 different care givers and none of them were at all familiar with joint replacement .They are non medical ,however ,they need to be educated as far as specific precautions.I had a specific unexpected issue occur [no fault of caregiver or myself} that in my opinion a follow up call of concern would have been good customer service from the owner. His daughter,Kaylee, is a good saleswoman in the beginning when I hired them however as soon as I needed something she emailed me and told me to contact Iris a manager with the home aides.I didn't know Iris ,as I had a long conversation in the beginning with Kaylee and therefore I contacted her directly .I felt she was putting off my concerns and just handing it over to someone else and making me wait ,when it was an immediate.concern..The one office person that I thought needs training in how to speak appropriately with clients, and sounded unaware of prioritizing and going on and on not getting to the point when the point is of great concern.,is Vanessa. I think in terms of the office personnel that I dealt with ,Frank was very nice and professional ,Miara was very pleasant. Iris is wonderful, and actually in my opinion she could teach customer service skills to the office employees.Iris is a one woman welcome comittee and clearly has the professional approach ,she was the person I was most impressed with .

I'm a social worker and frequently refer to The HomeAides. They are absolutely amazing and such a great resource to have in the community. They are friendly, quick to respond and care about their clients. I cannot say enough good things about The HomeAides. If I am planning a discharge, HomeAides is getting the referral!
