I have friends (an older couple) that have moved there very recently. The place is very neat and clean, the food is very good and they love it there. The people that live there are very friendly and the place has a lot of activities. It is situated very near the Northeast Georgia Hospital .... great location and easy access to their doctors!

My grandmother lives here and they seem to be very accommodating! We had a Christmas lunch here that was excellent! Shes happy and it's felt like home here for her in a short amount of time!

Daphne was so knowledgeable and helpful showing us around this welcoming place! She was very responsive as well. Highly recommend!

I work in healthcare and I’m in lots of communities every week and this place is so inviting and fun. The residents are happy and thriving. Daphne the sales director goes above and beyond for her current residents and future residents. Michael has done an amazing job creating a new vision and the hospitality really shows. Activties with Amy and events with the whole team are so much fun and top tier. Melissa does a wonderful job in the office and creating a wonderful atmosphere! This is the place I would want to be if I were in independent living.

First off, this is NOT an assisted living facility!! It is strictly INDEPENDENT! Living!! Please stop advertising it incorrectly!! It is a great place to live with wonderful food, lots of activities and a warm group of residents. But it is not the place for those needing a lot of assistance or continual monitoring and care!!<br>In retrospect, I appreciate the fact that our facility is now more accurately being shown as a retirement community rather than an assisted living facility. In light of this move in the right direction, I have given further thought to my rating and upgraded it to 4 stars. My intention was never to caste aspersions toward the staff, administration, or management of Smoky Springs. As previously stated, they are all wonderful and we are fortunate to have a hem here.
