Laura from the admissions department deserves a 5 star review. She's caring, attentive to the needs of the patients, and so super friendly. My mom was just admitted and this her 3rd round of rehab but the first time at this facility. I'm confident this will be our best experience as the other places were a horrific experience. Laura goes above and beyond and I'm grateful she is who helped us get situated.

Smithtown Rehab cares for not only the patients, but their caregivers as well. My grandmother was there recently and it seemed like she had so much fun, especially socializing with others and making friends. I will say, the NA Julia was amazing and beyond helpful! She communicated with my grandmother clearly, was always there to help with daily tasks, and was so kind and patient with her. Also, Julia helped steer me in the right direction if I was ever confused about anything and would sit down and talk with my grandma and I which made us feel really welcome! Thank you Julia for all your help, guidance, and pure kindness! God bless you!

My 8 weeks at Smithtown brought me from post surgery to prepared to go home independently. The PT; especially Dan; was most helpful, beneficial & supportive. What a gem! The food was tasty & a varied menu. The nursing care, especially Gina & Margaret, was superior & ongoing. The Aides were also most helpful-Stephen, Ronnie & Julia. I've never been in a Rehab & if needed, would choose to return to Smithtown. Recreation activities were very available, maintenance was on top of things, and the atmosphere is generally very supportive. I'm grateful for the effective time I spent at SmithtownCenter & the Andministrative support I received.

Our family is very grateful for the care our dad received at Smithtown Rehabilitation. The nurses were all wonderful—kind, attentive, and always willing to help. During a very difficult time for our family, it meant so much to know he was in such caring hands. We especially want to thank the aides Julia and Jocelyn, who went above and beyond every day. They took such loving care of our dad, always making sure he was comfortable, clean, and treated with dignity. You could truly see the compassion they had for him, and it brought our family great comfort. My mother was at the Smithtown Center for 3 months after a hip replacement from a fall. She is 101 years old. I can’t say enough wonderful things about how she was treated. She was in Unit D and the nurses were so caring to her. A few of my favorites- Gina, Margaret, Annemarie, Vanessa and Jay. My mother does not suffer with any dementia, she has all her mind. Her aides April and Jocelyn were attentive to her as well. Tara the dietitian was always concerned with her diet and I was able to pick and choose the foods she liked. Now for the Rehab part- my mother at 101 years old was super afraid to even try to walk after her fall. She seriously had the fear of falling. She was never disregarded because of her fear or her age and was taken to rehab everyday. Gerson is amazing and worked with her everyday, along with a super caring staff. By the time she left, she was walking with her walker and getting in and out of the little car in the gym. The facility had a lot of activities for her that she enjoyed. She also liked getting her hair done at the salon, which was actually cute! I had no complaints and never felt uncomfortable when I went there to see her.
