Some of the staff needs a huge raise, and some of them need to be fired. Whoever is running the place definitely needs to be fired. I’ve made several requests for my family member to just receive better basic things, and they say they will do it but they don’t. For example they never get them out of their bed for anything. While most of all the other patients are doing activities every day they are never included, because they need more assistance. The nurses seem to be ran ragged often. Alot of days there is only 1 nurse per hallway. unless the person is able to somewhat care for themselves this is just a place to come to die. If they can’t pay their nurses better to keep them this place needs to be shut down.

Our family member has been at this facility for several weeks. The nurses and staff have all been very kind and attentive to her and very responsive and helpful to us when we’ve visited and called. They have kept us updated proactively as well. She has made great progress in her healing and rehab to hopefully come home soon. They have even made things like insurance and paperwork as simple as possible so we could focus more on her.

I just finished a rehabilitation stay at Smith County Rehab. I have only good things to say about my stay. I was very pleased with the staff. The Therapists were beyond excellent. They did everything they could to make my stay pleasant, and they had a wonderful attitude and always a smile on their face. Always willing to answer any questions I had, which were many. They explained everything so I was able to understand. My therapists did an amazing job and I will never forget them. Thank you for helping me to come home much earlier than I expected. You're the best. I had some great nurses. You know who you are. I will always be thankful for the care you gave me and the kind hearts you have. I am thankful for anyone who helped me to get well, offered a kind word or a smile. When someone is sick, you never know how much these acts of kindness mean. Thank you all so much for making my stay a pleasant one.
