Very clean, very friendly, very kind but like most rehab facilities a understaffed. Rehab has shown a great deal of patience and kindness. Don't go for the food which is the usual institutional fare. I would highly recommend the facility, Slate Valley, for rehab. I would also say that I know everyone has an individual experience and I only speak from my family's experience (2 months).

I went to visit my mother today. She is a short term patient. She is there for physical therapy. She is 93 years old And has had a bad experience in a nursing home when she went as a short term patient (five weeks). I was so impressed with your facility. The attitude of all the staff that I met was so positive and they Seemed to really enjoy working there. I was impressed when I walked in the door. It was a sign outside of the business office that said, “COME IN, WE ARE AWESOME”. And they are!! My mother seems to be doing well there. Thank you!

Slate Valley rehab has a pleasant atmosphere, activities for patients, and nice employees. My only issue is they only have one van to transport patients to appointments and it is booked far in advance. My friend had to find a way to get to the hospital for a treatment.

Its greatly appreciated. You do a great job. Thank you for helping us feel like we made the right decision. Very highly recommended!
