My grandmother has been at this facility for three days and here are my complaints: The room was left filthy, the night staff assigned to her, was extremely rude. She was taken to use the potty in her room and after pushing the nurse button that she had finished, was left there for an hour with no help. She was sending me desperate texts to contact the facility for help. On top of it, I had to spend the night there to protect her and nobody came in the room, except one CNA to ask if she wanted to shower. He provided me with items to help with a sponge bath. I gave her the sponge bath, brushed her teeth, help her to the bathroom, etc. Those same dirty items have been left on the dresser now for three days. She had holes in her sheets, which I changed personally with another nurse. And her bedding has not been changed since. We are reporting elder abuse because I am really tired of having to ensure people do their job.

Shea Acute Rehabilitation Center My wife was in Shea Acute Rehabilitation Center for 2 months, We had a warm welcoming from all staff members. A treatment plan was established by doctors. Nurses were very attentive and delivered medications as needed. CNA’s were very good, coming in before leaving their shift to see if she needed anything and then when the next shift came in they would also come in to see if she needed anything. The physical therapist, occupational therapists, speech pathologist, and wound specialist were outstanding. All doctors communicated clearly and directly which was helpful. I was very impressed with how caring the entire staff was during the entire 2 months. The wound specialist even came in on his day off due to his concern for my wife. You don’t find that kind of care just anywhere. I would recommend Shea Acute Rehabilitation to anyone. Thank You for your great care. Tom G.

My mother-in-law was a patient at Shea. The staff was wonderful and warm, and made me feel like she was very important and safe. The care was top notch.. Thank you Shea for loving her as much as we do.

We had such a wonderful experience with Shae Post Acute Rehab Center. The staff is truly amazing. They were kind, attentive, and incredibly supportive throughout my aunt’s stay. They provided excellent care and helped her recover much faster than we expected. We’re so grateful for everything they did. They made a difficult time much less heavy. Highly recommend!

Screenshot of wait time to get ahold of anyone when you ask to get transferred to nurse covering your patient after they call you saying they didn't receive meds yet this morning. Still ringing at 19 minutes Update- after 20 minutes of ringing called main number back and was told I was being transferred to charge nurse. Got voice-mail. Left message. Received no call back and it's been a few hours. Patient has been having hand tremors that i reported yesterday, wanted to know if meds could be reviewed. Said daily PT, but that seems to be only weekdays. Feel quite bamboozled from that facility tour....... Update - been here over a week. No shower. Patient soiled himself and left in wheelchair for over an hour. When put to bed, no covers put on legs, window open behind closed blinds, call light out of reach and room door closed. No one covered him fully until I arrived at 8am when no one answered if he was up and getting ready for transport appt. Nurse lied and said he was covered all night, unaware I had taken photo of how I found him. Stay away for this place! Patients routinely crying for help, roaming the halls asking for assistance from anyone who walks by. Sad facility Update - insisted on transfer to ER. His sepsis is back and he has an abscess on his spine. They would have just continued to gaslight me that he was 'refusing to eat' and do therapy when his lack of appetite, nausea inability to move were key symptoms that they were ignoring. Parting gift, new foot ulcer from them refusing to use the pressure boots I brought from home. Not just a sad facility DANGEROUS
