While there are some kind, attentive, and caring staff members, the negative experiences stood out far more and made our overall experience much worse. One night, my family member pressed the call button for assistance getting into their wheelchair to use the bathroom, and no one responded. After waiting about 20 minutes, they had to help themselves and go to the front desk to let the nurses know. The response from the young male nurses was dismissive--they laughed and said, "Only 20 minutes?" Additionally, one nurse (Z) was present and appeared to ignore the situation. During our visits, she was consistently passive-aggressive, which added to our discomfort. There were also issues with professionalism and communication. During intake, a staff member (Z) handed me paperwork to sign but couldn't explain one of the forms and told me to ask another nurse. When I did, I was told the form was outdated and was given a different one. That same night, no one explained what to expect during my family member's stay--not the first night, the first day, or at any point afterward. Since this was our first time placing a loved one in a facility like this, I had to search for information myself and ask basic questions at the front desk just to understand how things worked. That's when I was again given outdated forms. While the location is convenient and the cost may be more affordable than other options, I would not recommend this facility to anyone you care about. The lack of responsiveness, communication, and professionalism--particularly from certain staff members--significantly impacted our experience.
