Shangri-la allows an employee to ridicule handicapped people on his Facebook page. William H Young III teased a women's sister who is in a wheelchair about here looks calling her cousin it. I have pictures of the conversation.

My mom has been at Shangri-La for more than four years now, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about it. The people who work there are kind and truly care about the residents.

Mom moved to Shangri La from a glitzier facility just a couple of miles away. She was wheel chair bound and unwilling or unable to participate in activities. She has received really good care at Shangri La at a much lower cost. At the previous facility she was sent out for UTIs three times and has had NO hospitalizations from Shangri La. This place gives excellent value if your loved one is not using the enrichment offered at other facilities. PS the food is good too!

My mother has been living at Shangri-La for over four years. Everyone who works there is kind and has empathy for the people living there. Shangri-La is relatively small, and does not have the resources of larger facilities. It is much less expensive than most other assisted living facilities. The facility has worked very hard to keep everyone safe during Covid. They had a few cases back in May, but no resident has gotten ill since then.

Shangri La was a caring home for my mother-in-law, and now my mother. The caregivers are friendly, and the nurses and medicine staff are knowledgeable. In addition, the manager of Shangri-La works with the families of the residents to ensure the residents are comfortable. The residents enjoy balanced meals in a dining room where they talk to and meet people with their own interests. There is also a TV room and an activities room where the residents pass their time. If you are looking for an assisted living facility for your loved one, Shangri La is a facility that you should contact.
