My 99 year young mother was a resident there. Every employee there called her granny or mamaw. She loved everyone there and joked around with them. Kept everyone laughing. They were so so kind and caring. Had her upmost care everyday. Very special employees there and I would think hand picked. Best place ever for your loved one.

My Dad came here for hospice and the staff was incredibly attentive and kind to him and to me while I stayed with him most of the time for the last 5 days. For these people, it's a calling not just a job.

A relative by marriage is a resident of this nursing home and I visit them there occasionally. The lack of care and attention not only to them but to other residents, is obvious each visit. The room as well as the resident, their hair, clothing and bedding are always dirty. Call lights going off go unanswered, even with staff members standing nearby. On my most recent visit there was a bedbound person laying with no covers on them and wearing only a hospital gown that was almost exposing them with their bed right next to the open hall door for all to see. Their room was also directly across from the nurse's station where the staff couldn't help but see them yet never made the effort to cover them. I did, after one visit some months ago, inform the spouse of the resident I visit, how dirty and unkempt their family mber was, but nothing ever improved so I concluded that there was no point in bringing the subject up again because I personally have no authority regarding their care. I would advise anyone who is considering putting a loved one in this nursing home to visit unannounced several times and roam the halls and take notice of your observations. The reality of it does not look like the online photos. There is no such thing as a "good" nursing home, but there are degrees of neglect and indifference. It is my observation that this one is unacceptable.
