Ruth's House

Ruth's House is an assisted living residence and memory care community in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, operated by JGS Lifecare. Located on a 23-acre campus with beautifully landscaped grounds, the community provides a welcoming, homelike environment for seniors of all faiths who value their independence but need assistance with day-to-day living activities.

The community offers individualized care plans with access to various levels of assistance, including help with bathing, dressing, and medication management. Primary care physician services are available on-site, and a registered dietician is available to discuss dietary needs. Residents enjoy private or companion suites that can be personalized to their preferences. Ruth's House also offers respite stays, providing accommodations when caregivers travel, individuals are recuperating from an illness, or those wanting to experience assisted living without full commitment.

Ruth's House Garden Level is a separate, secure neighborhood designed for residents with early to mid-stage memory impairments and dementia-related diseases. Staff members are certified in caring for those with memory loss and create a warm, secure environment with specialized activities. The Garden Level features a sensory room with interactive plush animals and baby doll therapy, as well as IN2L technology integrated throughout the residence to support residents with memory loss.

Amenities include a fireplace living room, library, gym, game and movie rooms, and outside gardens. A life enrichment program is designed to promote physical, intellectual, and emotional well-being through activities and programs. The community provides three meals a day in a dining setting. Short-term transitional care apartments are available for those completing rehabilitation who are not yet ready to return home.
