A great place to be!

A lot of other places may have a great staff and/orsetup, but what really makes Ruth's House special are the people. Not just the staff, but also the residents! Everyone here is very welcoming, they show you around, greet you, give you tips etc..

They have lots of events for the residents, bingo, trips to Magic Wings or lunch at Olive Garden, arts and crafts, movies.

Also, the cafeteria has pretty delicious food! If you have a friend or family member staying at Ruth's, make sure you stop in for a lunch or dinner.. You won't be disappointed!

I am deeply thankful for Ruth's House. It has brought new joy to my mom's life. The transition was impressively smooth. Andrea in marketing was a life saver, providing exceptional guidance and support every step of the way. The management and staff is very welcoming and treats my mom like their own. My only regret is not doing this sooner for my mom!!

Following are my observations and thus concerns

As a retired psychiatric social worker I have visited many nursing homes. I supervised staff in one

Recently a dear friend was a resident in the locked facility part of Ruth’s House. I visited her on a regular basis. She was lonely at first
Therefore as a thereuputic intervention I brought her a teddy bear. It immediately disappeared. So did most all articles her family and I brought her. Staff made little effort to return things, even clothing marked with her name.

When I asked to speak to the head nurse I was rudely told I was not allowed to as I was not family.

I never observed a personal connection or intervention which makes me wonder about staff training. Once a staff member told me they had no psychological background just took the job as they thought it would be “ fun”

Ultimately family was priced out by constant increase of rates without prior notic

I have to say that the people who work here at every level are magnificent and care about what they do. They care about the families of residents and the difficult times they are having. They are doing God's work here. The food is very good as well. Thanks to everyone who tried to help our mom for the short time she was with you.
