Rock creek used to be One of, if not the best nursing home in the state. But now it's one of the worst. Here's why: 1...drastically under staffed 2...not an upbeat environment for staff....Noone is happy. 3...wages are way below average 4...patient hygiene is terrible with showers available once a week many months. 5...food, for the most part, is terrible. 6...only one transportation aid for 350+ residents 7...constant turnover of floor staff and administrative staff I have been here for 7 months and am sooo disapointed. The staff (that are hear) are wonderful for the most part, but they cant keep most of them. I hear these problems from every lucid resident. Its not only me.

I inquired about moving my mom to this facility from another facility in town, yet they ignored me. Why? Because I have a busy body niece that thinks she owns Sulphur Springs and knows everyone in town. When I advised them to not speak to April Servin, the busy body niece, they refuse to return calls or requests for information. Even after I sent info regarding I AM POA and they are to speak to no one but me. So, if you want the town knowing your family member's business, this i s the place for you, they tell who they want, what they want. Nevermind the court ordered notarized paperwork . Good luck!
