My husband, Loren Smith, was admitted to Rock Creek May 12, 2026. We have been so pleased with the facility, The staff is friendly, caring and professional. We especially want to thank CNA Lori Jiles. She always has a smile and her care for Loren is professional and kind. She goes above and beyond to care for her patients. Thank you!

I picked this place for the location in Auburn. The staff here are professional, courteous, friendly and helpful. The patient to staff ratio, like most care facilities is high, yet I haven't had an issue with response times, though being ambulatory I can go to a nurses station when I have to. The food is standard and is sufficient in amounts, I have as yet to feel hungry. They do provide between meal snacks on request. Some items are better than others, but all in all, other than they serve margarine, (i brought my own butter) the fare is standard and balanced. They also allow you to have home prepared meals if they are individually portioned in labled plastic containers. They even provide storage for the food and will reheat it for you which I think is an awesome service. They provide on site laundry service or you can have family take it and return it. Allowing the facility to do it is convenient. They have awesome shower facilities with ample room and safety features though the water could be a little hotter. The physical therapy staff is relentless in the pursuit of your goals to ensure you can function and care for yourself prior to being discharged. They have a very pleasant and spacious courtyard with fountains, comfortable patio furniture with ample sun or shaded areas. Perfect for visitors, reading, napping, etc. The activities staff are awesome with periodic room visits to offer activities, both group and individual to ensure you remain engaged and dont get bored. They have animal therapy as well. The facility is clean and comfortable and they have daily housekeeping and linen changes upon request. I am also happy with management involvement, they answer questions and make sure you understand all aspects of your care, update you with communication from primary physicians and provide copies of documentation. They are also considerate and flexible with allowing you to walk (if capable) to the convenience store close by and the myriad of parks and museums that are close. They seem to have genuine respect for your rights and independence while still ensuring and maintaining your safety to the best of their ability. They also have a wide range of mobility equipment to ensure your comfort and ease of moving about the facility. Lastly, im impressed with the fact that a majority of the staff greets you at shift change and also comes by to say good nite, good morning or tell you to have a good day as they leave. That demonstrates the level of true compassion they have for their patients. I dont think any patient wants to have to come to a facility, but this one, thus far, demonstrates they want you to be comfortable and successful in your goal to leave here.

Everyone here is lovely and very caring. Staff provide comfort and take their jobs seriously. Nurse Tasha went above and beyond. I’ve noticed she is always there to help and always kind. Angela on NOC shift was very comforting. She made me feel like I was at home and Archie kept my spirits alive and made me laugh. Thank you to everyone at Rock Creek.

The food is very good here. The nursing staff is excellent and is always willing to help. I feel very safe and feel my needs are being met. The therapists are so conscientious of my needs and they make sure I need to work on what I need to get healthy again. I'm always served a nice dinner too. Ana the RN and Arjun and Lisa with therapy are very nice. Mr Jeff has been very helpful in understanding our needs and is always willing to take care things very quickly.

I was at Rock Creek from Aug 28 until Oct 9, recovering from a foot injury and infection . I cannot say enough about the kindness and quality of care from the nurses , CNAs, and Physical Therapy staff Everyone was caring and kind. Before I came , I had the usual fears people have about a skilled nursing facility. Will it smell like urine ? Will people be parked in front of the nurse’s station looking hopeless ? None of these fears came true I was always treated in a kind way. Not like a child and with good senses of humor in evidence I want to shout out to several of the staff. My 4 nurses. Rania , Anna, Ashley , and Mariah. All who advocated for their patients and were incredibly personable and kind. They represented their profession well Some great CNA staff. Lori , Alicia, Manfreet , Chevy , Danny , Nelia, Tatiana , Cristiana , and so many others who were fun and helpful and kept my spirits up everyday . The Physical Therapy staff, Tasha and Jose especially who went above and beyond for patients and always were encouraging me to get up and moving and gave me the confidence to know that I would return home with greater strength If you need to go somewhere to recover from an injury , I would highly recommend Rock Creek. They were good to me
