My mother has lived at Sapphire at Rivers Edge for many years. Since Sapphire took over management, I have seen numerous positive improvements. Around February, I had the opportunity to meet the new RCM, and she has truly been a breath of fresh air. Her professionalism, compassion, and dedication have given me confidence that my mother is receiving excellent care. The entire team has contributed to many positive changes, and I wanted to take a moment to recognize their hard work. Too often, reviews are written during moments of frustration, while positive experiences go unmentioned. I believe it is important to acknowledge when things are going well. Overall, I am very pleased with the care my mother receives and the improvements that have been made. Thank you to the staff and leadership for their continued commitment to the residents and their families Sincerely Mrs Renee Hoover

I just delivered groceries to this “facility” and it was horribly depressing to see the state of this run down, lonesome pit. I could see people lying in beds, in the dark, during broad daylight, in tiny, shallow rooms. The rooms looked like closets, really. All of the cheap blinds were torn up, the way you’d see tenants treating their shades at a crumby apartment complex. This is a rotting, dreary place. I cannot imagine sending anyone here. Is anyone in the healthcare authority realm paying attention?

Convalescent Nursing Home in Sheridan, Oregon. This is a small and older nursing home, but on 6 visits there I always found the staff professional and attentive, and the facility nicely kept. I was very impressed with the staff and nurse on duty, they were very helpful and friendly to the visitor, and had an obvious interest in assisting and helping the clients at the facility. Overall I was very impressed. Good patient to staff ratio. Located out in a "country town" away from big city noise and traffic.

Run as fast as you can away from this place. I've worked in the medical field before, and the first thing we saw was the outside, pure ghetto along with the neighborhood. My dad was sent there and I got him out in 1 week to a much nicer place. When they moved him this place kept ALL of his clothing, plus a suitcase . If I was ever homeless and they gave me a bed to sleep in, I would refuse so fast. Please think twice and look for other nicer places for your love ones.DONT be a fool to sweet words of theirs.
