Notable, many of the positive reviews mention the great staff. It doesn't feel like a coincidence. Especially given the gravity of the other real experiences shared resulting in poor ratings. All to say there is no excuse for poor management.

My sister is living at Riverbend. The facility is older and the staff overall is warm and welcoming. We have worked with Ally and she is very impressive. I have talked to Ally early in the day and received updates from her as late as 10:00 at night. She is professional, knowledgeable, responsive and compassionate.

My son was recovering from a stroke, we placed him there. He needed dialysis and they supposedly were able to accommodate him. It was the worst mistake we made, he recieved minimal care. I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere for your loved one. We didn't hear anything from the facility except the phone call stating he had died. I was disappointed they didn't show him more compassion. He absolutely hated it there. The staffing wasn't good, it was very difficult to communicate with them because phone calls went unanswered. They need to do better!

My mother has received excellent care since moving in to Riverbend Nursing Home. The staff has gone above and beyond in making her feel comfortable, loved and well taken care of. They have lots of activities for the residents to socialize and keep busy. They have birthday parties once a month, weekly bingo, happy hour etc. They had a visit from the Easter Bunny. My mom tested positive for covid and had to quarantine for 10 days and it fell over her birthday. They brought her food to her room each day and a special birthday lunch and dinner! She feels very loved. Thank you to Riverbend for taking such great care of my mother!
