This place is a dump!!! My Dad is NOT a difficult patient and doesn't ask for much. They are very unorganized and don't care about our loved ones (there are a FEW good nurses). Ive had to call this place multiple times and expose my ugly side, to get things organized. My Dad did not receive his breakfast, had to go hunt somebody down. Then they brought him a bologna and cheese sandwich because that's what they had available. He asked for a bowl of cereal, they brought it to him with hot milk (Thankgodness for the PT employee, she was able to locate some cold milk for him so he could at least eat his bowl of cereal). He goes to the nurses' station to get his own fresh water. He has to remind them of his appointments, so they have him ready in time for transportation. They allow you to shower twice a week only. Their communication is absolutely terrible, I put in a list of complaints in the Social Worker box also left a message for the Director of nursing requesting a return phone call, and nobody has contacted me about my concerns. This is just a brief overview of this place; I could write a couple pages of the nonsense of this place!!! I went as far as contacting his insurance to possibly get him relocated, I wouldn't place my dog in this facility!!! Hopefully they don't start retaliating against him after this review although it could have been prevented if they would simply do their jobs!!

My family member had a fall and the nurse said that she should be fine as the nurse will have to fill lot of papers , family member had to be taken for medical attention ti memorial- has neck damage! Very poor service as family members have to take care of mom more so the nurses - feed, remind medical attention. Diaper changes, hair and clothes cleaning ,,,,, and do many more things that family members are constantly performing for mom ,,,,,

This is the best rehab facility I have ever been in. Every member of the staff was a pure joy. All departments took the extra mile to make my stay a great one. It is a very clean facility and the food was good also. It was just an all around pleasurably experience!

My sister has been in this facility since September of 2023. I find Riverview post acute care top-notch when my sister went in. She couldn’t even walk and through their rehabilitation. She’s up and walking and running around! She still uses a walker but she’s up and mobile. She is a resident there. We were fortunate enough to be able to secure her a spot at Riverview post acute care! They treat their patients so well! Everyone gets good care praise the Lord for a river view post acute care. Their staff is fabulous. They do not run understaffed they have so many nurses the doctor comes the acutecare is right there. I go over there at least three times a week and I never see anything inappropriate. My church sent me to different facilities when a person from our congregation would be in a place and I’d go to check it out so I know what to look for and I’ve never ever seen anything inappropriate. The only thing I have ever seen at Riverview post acute care on scenic Avenue is kindness.

My great aunt stayed at Riverview, and our family couldn’t be more grateful for the care she received. The staff was consistently kind, patient, and attentive to her needs. They treated her with dignity and always made her feel comfortable and safe. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Communication with our family was excellent—we were always kept informed and felt like true partners in her care. Knowing she was in such capable and compassionate hands gave us real peace of mind. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality elder care.
