River Valley Hospice was absolutely amazing to work with during our most difficult time. We called on a Sunday morning and they had us signed up by the afternoon. We needed a hospital bed and a lot of medicine, and they made it all happen that same day as well. Outside of just making sure we had everything we quickly needed to ensure my Dad was comfortable, they were so supportive. Jody, our lead nurse, was phenomenal—she walked us through exactly what to expect and how to keep my Dad comfortable and happy. When we needed support at 2 am, they were there. I cannot say enough good things about every single nurse we worked with. Also, Kerry the Chaplain connected with my Mom and was exactly what she needed for spiritual and emotional support. I'm not sure what we would have done without their care and compassion. Highly recommend! I should also add that the Aftercare program was extremely helpful as well and walked me thru each of the steps I needed to take to secure my Dads information after passing.

Overall everything was excellent. We loved our wonderful physical therapist, Hortensia. She was patient and kind and got my husband from being bed ridden to a walker. Thank you!

My sister was a hospice client with River Valley. They were extremely helpful and kind during the entire time. The counselors and social workers were instrumental in finding a place that my sister would be professionally and compassionately cared for. The communication from the entire staff was absolutely the best. The aftercare specialist called me after my sister passed and assisted me in handling details I had not remotely considered. I know my sister was provided the best care available and I highly recommend River Valley should you need hospice services.

We found out my dad was terminal while he was in Kingman Regional Medical Center the last weekend of February. We chose River Valley Home Health and Hospice after calling several places because they promised to take care of everything and that my family wouldn't have to worry about anything while we kept our dad comfortable. The nurses were amazing and I would give them 5 stars. The delivery of my dad's hospital bed was a nightmare and the person who was supposed to put it where we wanted it not only had an attitude, but did not show up in time to put the bed in my dad's room. Once my dad arrived, the transport people were gracious enough to move the bed as my dad was waiting in the hallway on the transport bed. After we got my dad situated everything was fine until we had to call the call center. We were put on hold fo several minutes before having our call transferred to the Lake Havasue office, who told us to try calling back in ten mi minutes. It took forever to get a hold of someone. Furthermore, my dad passed away this morning and we called ten times for the bed and supplies to be picked up because my family did not want to keep seeing the bed my dad took his last breath in. We didn't hear from anybody until 6:30 pm and they said they could be here to pick up the bed and supplies between 9-11 pm! Like I mentioned before, the nurses were amazing and helpful, however; the call center was awful and the person responsible for delivering and picking up the bed was too. Our family was hopeful this company would follow through with their promise. I would not recommend this slouchy outfit to any family as they are unorganized chaos. My family should not have had to go through this much stress as our focus should have been on our dad/husband. The nurses were exceptional.

Hospice care personnel were very knowledgeable, professional, and caring. Their experience and guidance during wellness care and end of life process was a great help to the family.
