My stay at River Hills was overall excellent. The food was good although usually cold. The staff, however was an excellent experience for me!!! Not only were they well trained, very knowledgeable and capable, they were so kind and thoughtful, they treated me like they would have treated their own family member. They explained everything I was needing to do, assisted me in doing it. Upon my completion I was told “Good job or great job. I actually enjoyed physical therapy because of them. This may silly but I really love them 💕 I think of them often and remember my stay there. Not that I don’t love being home. It’s like Heaven on Earth actually! I just want to say thank you for all you did!! On Friday they get all the patients together for fun, therapeutic games like volleyball with balloons-and ring toss and corn hole toss and everyone is happy and enjoying themselves. When I was about to leave for my trip home the staff members who were not treating other patients came out to our car to say goodby to meThat touched my heart. If you’re ever in need of physical therapy. River Hills is the place for you!!

The staff treat residents with kindness, patience, and respect. They don’t just provide care — they build relationships, encourage the resident to keep going. The facility is clean, welcoming, and always has activities that bring smiles and laughter. The leadership is an amazing team and will help you with a questions you may have.

Never in my life have I seen such atrocities such horrible care of people. I’ve held my breath for many many many months hoping that things will get better because that’s what they always promised me. I walked in today. AC is out nobody’s working on it it’s 76° in the hallways. God knows what it is in the rooms. They had one washing machine working but we we couldn’t even find my dad‘s clothing So I can go wash it for them. We pay over $6800 a month for him to be there and you can’t afford AC or a new washer. The food looked like dog food. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Never ever ever put your loved one in this hell hole I’m doing everything I can right now to get my dad out of there!!!!

Despite a few negative reviews, my experience at River Hills Health and Rehab was overwhelmingly positive and truly deserves recognition. Their therapy department is exceptional - their care is patient-centered and they are genuinely invested in patient progress and quality of life. Equally impressive is the interdisciplinary team. Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication truly speaks to their commitment to high-quality care and teamwork.
