Right at Home has been an absolutely fantastic agency to work with. This past Winter, Right at Home provided genuinely supportive and caring in-home care givers to assist my Mom while I was away at work. I would highly recomment them to anyone with out hesitation.

My experience at Right At Home as a caregiver has been amazing. Management show a sincere concern for staff and clients. Last night, the HR manager Diana went over and above her job responsibilities. I had a client who was preparing for a very long uncomfortable night. After speaking with Diana she decided to get out of her bed around 9:30PM and drive 35 minutes to the clients home to ensure the clients needs were met and to offer me the assistance I needed. Diana provided moral support, gave suggestions on techniques to use to get the job done safely and efficiently and she even provided hands on help. The client repeatedly expressed gratitude for Diana’s presence and assistance. Thanks to Diana We were able to successfully meet the clients needs. Thank You Diana!!

Right at Home does all they can to keep the consistency in a caregivers provided. The response time is amazing and they are receptive to needs. I feel in some instances the caregiver should encourage the client how to best utilize their services. Express to the client, I'm here to help. Would you like to make a grocery list and we can go to the store or get a haircut, let's go for a walk it's a beautiful day. Until my father's passing the caregiver was helpful and personable and genuinely caring. Knowing the routine every time they are scheduled is extremely helpful. Understanding today's the day we change the sheets, the floor sweeped, or light dusting. A normal routine. Very helpful they will take individuals to doctor's appointments and drive the client's car if wanted as they are licensed, bonded and insured. The caregiver was able to assist my Dad's with a shower as needed. Also the caregiver was able to understand my mother struggling with dementia and or memory issues. Gently guiding the family that this is part of what my mother is going through and not to take it personally when she lashes out. Reminding my mother to eat or take her medication was very helpful. If you are seeking care for your loved ones, I recommend keeping them Right at Home!

Right At Home was hired in late 2023 to care for my mother who was 89 and in failing mental and physical health. She needed 24/7 care and was waiting for a room to open up at a nursing facility. Prior to that I had been caring for her on my own 24/7 for six years. During this time no one entered our home except for Right At Home employees. My mother subsequently passed away in early January 2024. A week before her passing, I realized one of the employees from Right At Home stole over $100,000 worth of heirloom jewelry, my grandmother's sterling silver over 100 years old, coins, and video equipment. The jewelry was hidden in a safe with the key hidden in another location, and the other items were in the garage and no one had permission to go in the garage. I have texts from the alleged thief that she went into the garage without contacting me first. I immediately reported to the police and to Right At Home. I have texts from the owners saying "a safe should be safe" and that they feel responsible. I hired a Private Investigator do a background check on the alleged thief that worked for Right At Home. This person had a criminal background and was adjudicated for theft and prostitution. Also, this person has two social security numbers, one they share with another person and multiple evictions. In September of 2024, the alleged thief reached out to me saying she wanted to return items and that she thought she was in trouble. I immediately reached out to the detective, as of today nothing has been done. I reached out to the alleged thief and that person changed their minds. After reading the final police report, I saw the owners fabricated their story and blamed me and disparaged my character. If they believed this were true than they had a duty as mandated reporters to report me to various agencies, they did not. Failure to report is a Class 1 Misdemeanor A.R.S. 46-454. This prolific theft and the death of my mother one week later profoundly affected me, but to have the caregivers disparage me to protect themselves is a disgrace and managing that situation while grieving made it even more devastating! At this time, no one has accepted responsibility! I have so much evidence against this person and yet law enforcement has dropped the ball. And absolutely no contrition from Right At Home. Families considering in home care should ask detailed question about screening, supervision and accountability before making a decision. To make matters worse, this person was never fired. I will be forever harmed. The response of the owners do not negate the fact they hired a criminal and brought this person into our home. My Private Investigator was able to do a simple background check which produced this person’s criminal record and also the fact that this person was allegedly committing social security fraud. I have evidence of multiple social security numbers one being shared by another individual. Another added trauma was when I was told by the owner of a pawn shop in my city, while I was searching for my stolen property, that I should be careful because they knew this person and said this person has guns. Their response also does not negate that they made false accusations and contradicting statements to law enforcement. Again, I have proof of that. Unfortunately, the police department in my city neglect to protect their citizens and even with enough evidence to indict, they failed me and the safety of of our community. Many citizens of our city have been denied justice. This person is out in the world to continue to harm others, enriched by their theft and greed. All these items were sentimental and most one of a kind irreplaceable heirlooms that were in a hidden safe and stored in a location that was off limits. There is not a day that goes by when I think of my mother that I’m also haunted by this profound and egregious injustice and how no one involved has taken accountability. I did nothing wrong yet I have to endure this harm and grief!
