This facility really needs to reevaluate their medical team. No one knows anything that the previous medical provider performed because notes are poor. The nurses took my mom off feeding and water for two days and she became dehydrated with a UTI (that they said she did not have) and ended up having a setback and another stroke. Some of the CNAs did not want to bathe her as they wanted to wait on one particular CNA who they said my mom bonded with the most (who was not at work at the time). CNAs argued in front of my mom and caused her to shut down and she began to feel uncomfortable staying at the facility alone. She was only there three weeks doing Skilled Nursing Rehab and did not progress at all.

My husband and I arrived from Kansas to visit his mother at Ridgecrest Community Care Center. She was admitted for rehab a few weeks ago. From the moment we drove on campus we were impressed. The setting for this healthcare center is absolutely beautiful! We saw residents outside -enjoying the sunshine, others fishing in the pond, and staff decorating for Christmas. Upon entering the building I was immediately struck with the cleanliness and tasteful interior design. But the staff! The staff is what did it for me. Everyone we met was friendly, helpful and seemed happy to be working at Ridgecrest Community Care Center. One nurse shared she had been working there for 7 years! I know how rare this is, yet so critical to quality care. From front desk concierge, admissions, nursing, therapy, business office, and housekeeping ALL made us feel blessed that our loved one was under their care. I would highly recommend Ridgecrest Community Care Center for skilled nursing and long term care.

I want to take the time to say thank you to the Ridgecrest staff for the quality of care provided for my mother. The care they took with her gave me peace of mind and made her transition into this chapter of her life easier. I'll forever be grateful!

They took great care of my grandmother! She was able to gain her strength back and return home. She loved watching the ducks, at that time the mama duck had eggs. The nurses and CNAs were very attentive. Would definitely return
