My mom moved into Independent Living in 2018, and over the years she was in Assisted Living, and eventually Skilled Care, so I’ve seen a lot of staff and administrative changes. For me, the management responded to emails, and has followed up on the many questions I’ve had regarding my mother’s care over the years. The activity department is wonderful! There’s no doubt of their commitment to the residents. Rehab is also run by a great, friendly group of professionals. Other committed staff include the social worker and business admin, who successfully navigated the Medicaid process when needed. Truly worth a look if you’re seeking a place within Baltimore Co, affordable, set amongst trees and a natural setting, and easily accessible to 695.

My Husband recently had a knee replacement and needed a good rehab center. I toured Resort of Augsburg to see if they were a good match for my husband’s situation . I decided to give them a try and I’m glad I did. I was very skeptical because of the reviews. What I will say to that is everyone’s experience is different. I encourage you to go and assess the facility in person and engage with the professionals there. My experience was stellar!! my family is so very grateful for the outstanding service provided to my Husband at this facility. Thank you. Extra thanks to the social worker Mr Idris. He worked incredibly hard to help my family navigate through this very challenging process. He almost always has a solution and if he doesn’t he will certainly put in the work to find someone who can help you. Give resort of Augsburg a shot. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Because I lived in Lochearn since the age of six, I was interested in seeing what Augsburg was like on the inside. It was an orphanage back then. While the buildings are old and many repairs are needed, the qualified staff more than makes up for that. I never once in the 60 or so days he was here had any negative feelings about anyone working here. I visited every one of those 60 days. As with any senior nursing facility, there can never be enough hands for the amount of need in a large home as this. Only a few times did I have issues finding help when I needed it and always on weekends when the staff was smaller. My husband is doing very much better as a result of his time at Augsburg. My mother lives at Augsburg in long term care. I gave my mother a an 80th Birthday party today and Augsburg different teams were excellent. The activities department , hospitality department, custodial department, as well as the dietary support made such a difference in how things flowed. The teams were wonderful. Ms. Dania Valentine is always very thorough and accommodating. She gets that job done and it is a pleasure working with her. She demonstrates a caring and loving attitude with all of the patients at Augsburg .I feel blessed to know that she has a part in my mother’s care. The Augsburg teams made sure that I had everything that I had need of from start to finish was taken care of . Thank you all for your exceptional work. Sonya Cartwright
