I have only been at the Reserve 7 months. Most employees here treat you as a human, but you have some Care Takers that can be very snobby and tell you they are not your maid and if you want certain things done, like a glass of ice water (where I have an ice machine and water), you have to say please and thank you. When you get to our age you don't always remember to say those things. Natalie U is a great concierge. She is very kind and always has an uplifting spirit, which brings you up if you are feeling down. I am so glad Ricky hired her for us. She loves it when my granddaughter brings my great grandson and she gets to see him.

The environment is beautiful, clean, and welcoming, but what really makes The Reserve special is the people. Rachael and Tanya go above and beyond every single day. Their kindness, professionalism, and compassion shine through in everything they do. They take the time to truly connect with residents and families, making everyone feel valued and supported. You can tell they genuinely love what they do, and it makes all the difference. It’s such a comfort knowing that loved ones are not only well cared for but are also surrounded by a team that treats them like family. I can’t recommend The Reserve at Katy highly enough—especially thanks to the dedication and heart that Rachael and Tanya bring to the community.

I cannot say enough positive things about The Reserve in Katy. As a family member of a resident, I am incredibly happy with the decision to make this place my mom’s home. What truly sets The Reserve apart is their outstanding customer service across every department. From the moment you walk in, the receptionist, TJ greets you with genuine warmth. The business office staff , Rachael is professional and helpful, while the sales director Tonya made the transition process seamless. The activities director Stephanie keeps residents engaged and happy, and the wait staff consistently goes above and beyond with their attentive service. The med tech staff, Monique and Nike to name a few, deserves special recognition for their professionalism and attention to detail. They manage medications with precision and care, always taking the time to explain things to both residents and family members. Their compassionate approach to healthcare needs gives us tremendous confidence in my mom’s daily care. The kitchen staff, from Leo to all the incredible wait staff that truly make dining a pleasure at The Reserve. They prepare delicious, nutritious meals with care and accommodate special dietary needs with enthusiasm. The variety and quality of food consistently impresses both residents and visiting family members, and you can tell the kitchen team takes pride in creating meals that feel like home cooking. Every single staff member I’ve encountered brings smiles, dedication, and genuine support to their role. It’s clear they understand they’re not just providing services—they’re creating a true home environment where residents and families feel valued and cared for. For families considering assisted living options in the Katy area, I wholeheartedly recommend The Reserve. The peace of mind that comes from knowing your loved one is in such caring, capable hands is invaluable. Awesome community!! I toured with Tanya and I met with Monique, the wellness director. I was very impressed and loved the information provided to me. I was offered education related to dementia care in which I learned a lot! I obtained information about different settings here in Texas. Monique helped me to decide what was best for my family member. I highly recommend the community! They made me very comfortable and I felt at home!

My husband has been a patient in the memory care unit of Reserve at Katy since May 2025. The caregivers in the 6am-2pm shift are outstanding. They try hard to engage the patients in various activities. They do this with a great deal of kindness and caring. In June a new company purchased the Reserve and immediately started to plan changes and upgrades which are very much needed. They are always available to listen to my concerns and answer questions. All the staff seem to genuinely care about creating a calm, happy, clean, updated home for these special residents. I am giving them a 4 and in 6 months will hopefully be able to give them a 5!
