This place is awful. I've had to sit in my own pee for several hours because the staff do not answer the call button. I don't get my meds on time. I have end stage copd and can't get out of bed. I would not refinance this place to anyone

I have no complaints. I was well cared for-got a lot of attention . The physical therapy was great. It could not have been better. It really helped me to get back on my feet. Everyone acted like they cared! And the food was pretty good!

This was the worst experience I have ever had at anything health care facility. No communication or cooperation with any of the staff. My brother passed in their care, and I have no way to know how many hours before the was aware he was gone. Please do your reach before leaving you loved one here.

If I could give lower than one I would. Husband was there and I am coming up on the first anniversary of his death. He hated that place. He wasn’t there but about a week and he became terribly bruised, especially all over his legs. His health spiraled down. On a saturday he complained of chest pain. They took him by ambulance to Doctors Hospital and was then transffered to Augusta Health. Problem WAS, I was not notified of any of this until late Sunday the next day. No one from the nursing home called me to notify me. I did not find out until the hospital called me trying to locate his next of kin. He was delirious and unable to communicate. I immediately rushed to the hospital. He had been there almost two days. NEVER a call from the nursing home. When I asked the nursing home on Monday why I was not notified, I was told I will have to check and get back to you, but they never did. My husband died shortly after. It has taken me almost a year to tell my story. It upsets me to this day. Please don’t put your loved one here. It could be the end like mine.

I have seen many of you have put on here this place is not very good and I can agree because my sister is in there I go once or twice a week to make sure she is okay, most of her clothes are missing and her Nike shoes and other stuff, if you put your family member in there you need to be checking on them at least once a week I have seen all of your complaints when you go in the door to the right there is a sign in red that says ombudsman that is the state that does their inspections get the number from it call them and file the complaint do not call the owner or any of the staff because nothing will get done I have made many completes about my sister's things being gone and I even took pictures of everything we took up there and all the stuff she got for Christmas and they still cannot find it, my family owns a personal care home and I know all the rules and regulations of the nursing home because I downloaded them which you can do also it is about 40 pages long because a personal care home and a nursing home have the same company that inspects them it's just a different division, if you have problems call that number when you go in the front door on the right you will see that red poster that says ombudsman call that number and complain, I have seen patience going into other patients rooms and five or six people standing around just talking not paying attention to the clients, I do sit back sometimes and then just watch especially since I own a personal care home and I see patients walking around going in another patients rooms as I said before 5 or 6 people there standing around talking to each other not even noticing that patients are going in other patients room as a matter fact when my sister shoes were missing My neighbors one that used to work up there took pictures of her shoes for me because I told her they were missing she had on a men's size 10 shoes she wears a seven and they were told she went into a patient's room and got the shoes. That would never happen in my personal care home! Most people are just there for a paycheck in my personal care home they are my family and I don't care if it is a personal care home or a nursing home they should be taking care of them as they would their own family of that is how they take care of their own family then that is a big problem! I will be going up there this week to check on her and all her stuff and if they do not have her stuff found then I will be calling ombudsman myself. As I said before when you walk through those double doors on the right take a picture of that poster that says on ombudsman and file a complaint.
