Ramseur is a beautiful facility staffed with the most amazing people! Everyone is so very kind, helpful, and fills the building with such great spirits. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing or searching for rehab or Long Term care for themselves or a loved one!

The facility is very clean; staff care about the residents and work very hard to take care of them. The are very engaging with the family and the residents. The food for the residents tastes great! The therapy department really work hard to help the resident return to their everyday living activities. The staff love to involve the families and the community.

I would give zero stars if I could. Short staffed, rude, do not attend to the ones who need it most in a proper amount of time, mistreat patients, neglect patients, are not trained properly, watched people fall out of wheelchairs and no one helped, so I did. Watched elderly falling out of bed screaming for help and no one came. 3rd shift sleeps on the job and nowhere to be found when pressing the call button. (At least 10 nights) They had no idea I was even there more than 5 times and I couldn't get out of the facility due to not being able to find anyone to unlock the door. Total lack of knowledge on everyone's part to see when theres a health problem that needs to be addressed. The doctor isnt there much and getting blood work done, took 1 whole week for results which resulted in uti getting worse. I had to tell them to check for uti for my gma after seeing her pee so dark, she then had blood and no one thought to check until I made them. She then got sepsis and they kept saying she had a virus. They would bring food, but not help her open anything or help her eat and then take her plate away without eating. One of the ladies abused my grandma, but we dont know which one. My gma had never been racist, but became racist while being here due to mistreatment. One of the ladies got smart with me and she learned real quick, I wasnt playing with her. I cant imagine how my grandma was treated while no one was there. She had signs of stroke and everything was just ignored. I had to step in and make them send her to the hospital, in which we found out she was septic. She was too weak to fight it after medical issues were neglected and passed away from it. She did well her 1st week there, but after a week she was hurt with a sprained ankle and bruises and no one seemed to notice or mention it until I did. Although there were some caring staff, there was not enough staff period, and way more neglect than any of the other facilities I've visited. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here, especially if they do not have family there daily. If you do have family here, check on them often and make them do blood work, dont wait on the doctor, send them to the hospital if you feel the need, hold them accountable and put a video recorder in their room. Record conversations and document everything. Get copies of everything. This place needs to be closed down or managed better. Then people at the desk in the center of the facility would ignore you if you walked up for help. You would literally stand in front of them and no one would even look up. It got to the point, I located the items I needed and got them myself. Someone needs to monitor this place hard, especially 2nd and 3rd shift. Whomever has given 5 stars, I cant imagine why? Unless, they had alot of family monitoring and the nurses were aware of that because the ones that didn't, were not taken care of properly. Zero stars, someone needs to investigate this place! Update: unable to respond to the comment below........ Of course you would say "no findings" so you aren't held liable, but the EMS staff and the hospital staff said it was neglect. EMS said they see it all the time with this facility, as well as others, but it seems nothing can ever be proven, no one knows what happened and everything is covered up. My grandma was telling us what was happening with some of the night staff. I personally ran into some rude and non empathic evening and night staff. I personally witnessed neglect with her as well as others such as unexplained bruises, medical concerns not addressed in a timely manner, long wait times for test results, sitting in poop for many hours, dirty room, not helping open containers or help feeding, not bathing properly, was told they didnt get paid enough to deal with her, and many more issues! I am unsure who researched or what was researched, but "no findings" is a flat out lie. So many things happened here in the short amount of time I visited. It was sickening and heart breaking.
