When my father's Lewy Body Dementia progressed to a state that he required professional Memory Care, Quabbin Valley Healthcare happened to have an available bed and was sent there for an attempt to rehab (which ended up being impossible), into long term care. Since Quabbin Valley is a bit of a distance from us, we initially looked into other options to move my dad. However, upon visiting him and seeing the staff, we knew Quabbin Valley was the right place for him. From the day he was first admitted to nearly 2 years later when he passed away, Quabbin Valley's nurses gave my dad wonderful care that me and the rest of his family always felt so blessed for. From the personal attention I received to help fill out forms when we first arrived to keeping him comfortable, clean, and allowing his brother to have a bed by his side on his final night, we always knew my dad was safe and cared for. If your loved one requires long term memory care and is admitted to Quabbin Valley, you can be confident they are receiving truly excellent care. My family will always be thankful to them.

Quabbin Valley is the best nursing home I have ever had the experience with and beleive me I worked in alot of them and nobody compares to this place. I had to put my Uncle there after he was being abused at Pennylane in Fitchburg and had to fight them on a daily basis to just do right for my Uncle and it was the best choice I had to make. My uncle loves it there. All Staff are extremely nice and go out of there way to help you even if they don't have you that day. They have done so much for my Uncle and all the other residents. I feel confident and comfortable leaving him there because I know he's in good hands. The maintenance men are also great. The minute you ask them to do something they are on it. The Kitchen staff are also amazing. If you don't like something they always give you acouple other choices and they don't get upset with you! They have so many different activities for the residents, cookouts, prom night, bingo, singers ect. I can go on and on... They are like one big family there and treat you like it! You would truly have to see it for your own eyes. I would highly recommend Quabbin Valley for your love one!!!

I was there for a month because I had a rotator cuff surgeory that got severely infected during surgeory n then 5 months later I went septic n had to spend 3 weeks in Quabbin after a week in the Hospital. All the staff there were amazing n very dedicated to thier jobs n beyond. They were allso on the ball at making any Dr.'s appointments that were needed n made sure I got there. I defenately give them 5 stars n more! Thank you to all the Staff.

After a serious illness I needed extensive rehab. Coming to Quabbin I was skeptical. I found the pt and ot to be above and beyond. The nurses? I cannot stress how helpful, kind, and just plain great they have been. I would love to name some employees by name but I won't because they have all been amazing. Also, kudos to the kitchen staff. The food has been a very pleasant surprise. Always hot and very good. My experience here? 5 star all the way.

Nobody wants their parent to have to go to a nursing home, but sometimes its necessary. My father has been at Quabbin Valley since January 2023, first as a rehab patient and then as a resident. The decor of the facility is a bit dated, but is always immaculate. Thr outside areas are well groomed and cared for. The staff speaks kindly& respectfully to the residents and each other. There are daily activities for the residents and they went out of their way to celebrate my father’s milestone birthday which made him very happy.
