I had worked for them a few years back and when I worked there it was ok. The scheduler did not like me for some reason but I wasn't there to be like I was there to do my job and provide care to my clients. My client went into the hospital and didn't return. In the meantime at first they didn't have anything for me so I had no choice but to quickly call my other job and was able to get hours quickly. I had bills to pay. Over time a few shifts I was offered didn't fit with the hrs I was working and I became deactivated. Fast forward to the following year, I saw an advertisement of hiring so I called and Karen said I needed to reapply, so I applied. I stopped in to make sure they received my resume and application. I ws was told it will take a few weeks, they are going through them and to check back in a few weeks. I call a few weeks later Karen answered and told me the office was closed for a month to try back after that. So I wait and call back after the month spoke with KAREN again and this time she tells me sorry we aren't doing any rehires. So they strung me along for like 2- 3months making me think I just needed to wait AND THEN tell me they aren't doing rehires. That was so unprofessional, WRONG AND ABSOLUTELY UNETHICAL! As a previous Director of a home care agency, I would NEVER do that to someone! So then, I apply to Kalamazoo and got an instant rejection saying I didn't meet criteria . Lol I then decided to call. I explained what was going on and asked for the corporate phone number. They WOULD NOT give it to me and told me " If they want to talk to you, they will call you." I have almost 20 years experience with clean background, current CPR AND TB test, reliable vehicle and full coverage. I had a very open schedule and would hv been willing to work every weekend. I have good work ethic always showed up to work AND on time. I was a CNA had a lot of experience but the response was I didn't meet the criteria. LOL I actually go way beyond meeting the criteria with stellar references throughout my almost 20 year Caregiving career as well. I have no clue as to why I was black listed like that. I actually liked working there. I never did anything to these people, to be treated like that is just not right. :( 😓
