Why did my mother in law get shellfish for dinner, when she was allergic to it….well a little communication laps I guess, when they were brought notice to that she was allergic and asked for a different food tray. One never came an hour and a half two hours later did not come. Here’s a 91-year-old lady was very hungry, and they did not feed her,,,, why ,,,, somebody is messing up bad over there. No communication!!!!! My mother-in-law never got a tray of food. Her daughter had to bring her outside food in so she would have something to eat. And her daughter reminded them twice that she hadn’t had a tray in over an hour and a half to two hours and still no tray. No communications whatsoever she needs Woond Care didn’t get it tell was explained 3 times. She needs an air mattress , didn’t get it. And a gel pad for the wheel chair, there are needs like cutting up her food in small bites so she can eat it because she’s not strong enough to cut it up. These things my fiancé, her daughter has told me that things are getting done And today. It seems she was not as upset as she was the other day… I know being 91 is no easy task to take care of. My understanding is she got her air mattress, thank you very much. She has a very sore Base of her spine (open Woond) and her heels are sore. It’s my understanding that her wound on her base of her spine has been treated. Thank you very much and hopefully something will be done about her heels. She is very fragile and I know she needs lots of care. Thank you for addressing the issues.

We had a friend of the family that was at Banner Main in Tucson for a long time. The hospital recommended that the friend be discharged to a skilled nursing facility, but was on an IV antibiotic that was running $1300 a day; no joke. The case manager at Banner sent the referral out to 6 different skilled nursing facilities. They all accepted until they learned that this IV antibiotic was needed in the care plan and because of the expense, five of them said no. I want to recognize and personally thank Rachel Gibson in the admissions office who went the extra mile and went above and beyond the call of duty. Instead of turning us down like the others, she reached out and said that she was going to speak to the insurance company and initiate what is called a “carve out.” It was extra work for her to do, but made it possible for our friend to receive the specific treatment that was needed in the Pueblo Springs facility. Rachel was the only one that was willing to go that extra mile and she did precisely that. She also set us up in their newest part of the renovated wing of the facility in which the rooms are larger, private, and nice to be in. Thank you, Rachel, for being a friend and advocate when our family friend so desperately needed one!

I had my mother for almost two weeks after being in the hospital. I am so grateful for the staff and especially for María, Kat and Kat's mother they took good care of my mother in every detailed and she was always cleaned. I don't have words for all the staff at Pueblo Springs for being there for mother!!! The building was always cleaned. Thank you! Thank you so much. God blesses you all!!!

I was very happy with my stay at Pueblo Springs Rehabilitation Center. All of the staff went above and BEYOND to help assist with my needs . Mediation management was excellent great doctors with good bedside manner. The Physical therapy Team is wonderful helpful and helped me walk 40 feet i was very impressed with there team Social services Marlena The Director of Nursing Roberta addressed and handled any issues i had with great helpful communication and understanding The kitchen staff is Awesome, Great FOOD . i also had so much help from Acitivities Deitary ,Nurses ,Housekeeping, and CNA assistance was kind caring and compassionate. I was discharged and was happy with my stay and if i ever have to get help again I would greatly appreciate going back. I wanted to give the Pueblo Springs Rehabilitation Staff a Big ThankU and They have my Vote of RECOMMENDATIONS! SINCERLY APRIL FARACI

I have a family member that came into Pueblo Springs with some hesitation. Although, after the 12 days she was there I would recommend this facility to anyone. The nursing staff there cared so much for the residents. Food was good, but most importantly therapy was able to get her moving again. She's done so well in recovery that she is home now and thriving. Thank you to everyone at Pueblo!
