My experience with The Providence Place has been truly wonderful. The caregivers are patient and kind, and communication with us is consistent and transparent. The home itself feels welcoming and comfortable rather than institutional. The food is also very good, meals are well-prepared, and balanced. We are very grateful for the level of care and dignity they provide.

I am delighted to say that Providence Place had exceeded our expectations, the care provided to our mom/ grandmother has been excelent, professional and gracefully provided. We are so glad that my mom was given the chance to receive their services. We were very reluctant to transfer mom out of her home, but since this happened more than a year already, the experience has been positive all around. As a nurse myself, I know that the care provided by all Providence Place employees is from their heart and using all their great skills. I strongly recommend this place for a love one needing twenty four hours care.

Providence Place is a wonderful facility and is taking great care of my father. Catherine and her staff are caring, compassionate, attentive, friendly, and take the utmost care of their patients. We receive daily updates, photos, and videos of my father from the staff and it is great to see him happily participating in events. My father has dementia and his emotions had him labeled as a difficult patient at previous facilities. Providence Place has brought out the best in him! He is now active, smiling, and happy! It warms my family’s heart to see this. We are so grateful and appreciative of Catherine and the caring staff at Providence Place and highly recommend them.

It's been a little over a year since we made the tough decision to move my mother from a home care environment to a care facility that could better meet the needs of my mother's very advanced dementia -- I say tough because we've all heard about horrible stories related to elder care facilities. Providence Place, however, worked out to be the best decision we could have ever made. The facility is ideally suited for late-state dementia cases. Its caregivers are experienced, caring, and tuned in to the unique challenges that come with dementia's cruel toll on the mind and body. I especially like Providence Place's pricing model in that they don't gouge you with added costs for every little thing; their pricing is clear and upfront. The caregiver to resident ratio is good; it feels like one big family. Fresh meals are provided daily, music and light exercise therapy are woven into the weekly routine, and opportunities given to residents to enjoy the fresh air outside. It's never easy seeing the irreversible march of this horrible disease on loved ones. But knowing my mom and the other residents at Providence are getting great care, is so comforting. And a special thanks to Catherine, the Health and Wellness Director at Providence. She is so empathetic and understanding of the situation. As to mom, she seems to enjoy the added stimulation of being around other people. Onward!
