If you just want your loved one to die and be neglected send them here! My mom was sent there to recover and she died 4 days later!! The staff doesn’t communicate with one another, or the family. They’re under staffed the aids do more work than the nurses. And speaking of the nurses my mom’s nurse was lazy, un knowledgeable, lacked communication and no sympathy WHAT SO EVER!!!

This Rehab Center needs a lot of work. It needs to be shut down actually it doesn’t have the sanitation and cleanliness at a basic level, the physical therapy is the worst I’ve ever seen, my mom didn’t get all the physical therapy that was needed and when she went home and able to get home care she was behind because she didn’t get the proper physical therapy She needed in the rehab center. I feel like insurance companies need to investigate before they put clients in this facility I don’t know if the nurses are underpaid, but they have a lot of clients to tend to , and a lot of times the light stays on for a long time before anybody gets help. My mom was there and I had to go every day to check on her just to make sure she was getting her medication timely. I had to speak with them on many occasions about this. Some of the people were very nice, but it takes more than that to care for a person.

I recently fell and fractured my right shoulder and my ER Doc recommended I go to rehab for PT and OT before I go home. Since I was at Providence Hospital I chose Providence Place Rehabilitation Center. While the facility is a bit older, the care I am being given is excellent. I was welcomed the minute they wheeled me in and have been blessed with nothing but kindness. My private room is quite large and my husband has been spending a lot of time with me here and there’s plenty of room for that! The therapists are all doing a wonderful job to get me back to functional and taking their time working with me alone and in a group setting that makes things a bit more fun. Every member of the caregiving staff has been so compassionate and professional and some of the nicest people I have met. They are taking great care of me and making what could have been a terrible experience a very good one. If you have rehabilitation needs, I highly recommend Providence Place Rehabilitation Center.

This place needs a good renovation and better staff. It's old with old furniture and very depressing. There isn't enough staff to help the patients, patients push their help button and it takes staff over an hour to respond. It's unacceptable there are people in there who really need help.
