If I could give them ZERO, I would. An L 4 -5 spinal fusion 2 day hospital stay turned into 9. I was released with PHH to provide visiting nurse and PT services. When I had not heard from PHH, I called, only to be told that I would have to be referred by my Primary Care Phys., who I had a call with in 5 DAYS! No help, no PT, no nurse for 5 days. PCP sent referral to Pro Home Health on Tues. I never received a call, so on Fri I again call at 11:15 AM, only to be told Director of Nursing had left for the day and would call me on Monday. Shocker, I never received a call back. I had to call friends to help me with basic care, as I am under spinal sugery protocols to not bend, lift or twist. As far as I am concerned, the name "Professional Home Health Care" is a misnomer, as their lack of basic courtesy in returning a phone call indicates their profound lack of professionalism. Goodness only knows what kind of "Professional Care" I would have received! I shudder to think. I WOULD NOT recommend this "service" to ANYONE!
