We weren’t happy, and we pulled my mother out. Although it wasn’t unsafe, it left much to be desired. The food is often barely edible, and my mother lost 15 lbs in the 3 months she was there. The rooms for assisted living are so tiny that you can’t even fit a double bed in. Communication was spotty. The staff wasn’t capable of helping with a CPAP machine. Poor Mom was just miserable.

The care my grandmother has received at The Florence Presbyterian Community has been outstanding. I was initially worried that relying on her government insurance (Tricare) might affect the quality of care or limit her options. But I’ve been genuinely impressed by the compassion, professionalism, and attention she’s received. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others.

The environment was so friendly, welcoming and clean ! The food was amazing as my mom is a very picky eater. I’d recommend this place to anyone.
