Both my husband and I have received excellent care from Preferred Home Health's physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy professionals. We have both improved immensely under their care and look forward to them coming into our home. We sincerely appreciate both their earnestness to help us improve our quality of life and their flexibility as we juggle medical appointments and therapies. It's been quite the journey this past year and a half - Missy, Janelle and Haley deserve HUGE KUDOS for their help throughout this challenging time. I highly recommend Preferred Home Health.

Hi, I just became a new patient 01/01/2025….I found they really do live up to their mission statement, dedication. Excellence. Responsiveness… my experience began with Brittany..gave me a call as to her arrival time, I had requested a quiet concentrator, I received a brand new one out of the box…she was efficient setting up and making sure I understood how it should work. She was so very nice and genuinely interested in me and my welfare..when she left we hugged….😊. On 01/15/25. I had an appointment with Jeff at the Berthoud office (my preference) I was way early (my error)he was totally ok with the earlier arrival….through his testing, my doctors prescription wasn’t what I needed..he said not to worry he would address the issues….this morning talking on the phone with Carrie with a question, also a pleasant experience, no impatience or making me feel dumb… What all these interactions meant for me was after….I felt heard and cared for with a smile ….THANK YOU ❣️Ps thanks Jeff for “Battle Ready” makes me laugh out loud.

I highly recommend this company because they have a helpful and reliable staff. I felt loved and appreciated and they took great care of my father. Lori and Chris are amazing and were always there for me. They helped me through the tough times while I have been recovering from shoulder surgery. They provided me great staff. I had Shannon, Linda, and Tricia and they are the best. They came in and went above and beyond my expectations. My family felt cared for and loved. That means everything to me. Thank you so much for your services. Much appreciated, Pamela

I ordered a CPAP device for a patient weeks ago and still cannot get the device delivered even with the proper documentation. You have my phone number and fax number. Contact me and deliver the device and maybe I will remove this NEGATIVE REVIEW.

Does Medicare cover care from Preferred Home Health?

Yes. Preferred Home Health is a Medicare-certified home health agency, so Medicare Part A or Part B pays in full for skilled nursing, therapy and home health aide visits when a doctor orders them and the patient is homebound. There is no copay for covered home health visits. Medicare rates the agency's quality of patient care 2.5 out of 5 stars.

For Medicare to pay, yes: a doctor, nurse practitioner or physician assistant must certify that care is needed and sign a plan of care.
