I contacted this place to inquire about their service dog policy for visitors. I’m disabled and planned to come down for a surprise trip to my grandmother and grandfather before she passed away. Instead of answering my question, they decided to LIE TO ME and state they talked to my grandmother and she didn’t want myself or my service dog there. I did not tell them who my grandmother was and they refused to answer when I asked how they knew who im related to. Long story short, my grandmother died and I didn’t get a chance to see her to say goodbye. I found out from my grandfather that they lied about all of it. She was expecting us both and we didn’t get to be there because of this facility’s lies and manipulation. What was actually happening is they were trying to deny my service dog in violation of the ADA. When I made a post on Facebook about this, I discovered I’m not the only person this has happened to. There are at least three other service dog users this happened to, 2 of which whoever runs the social media platform for this business decided to stalk to find out who they we’re related to and then go lie to their relatives in an attempt to keep the service dog and user away. They aren’t just discriminating by trying to deny the service dog, they are also trying to deny the disabled person. Not only is this illegal, but as an assistance animal legal advocate I have to say it is the most DISGUSTING thing I have come across. They are literally playing with peoples lives because they don’t like disabled individuals. 100/10 do NOT recommend!!!
