My mother was 80 years old when she moved into one of the independent living duets at Ponte Palmero. Mom peacefully passed away in that same duet five weeks ago. After this 10 year stay there, I cannot imagine a better place for her. In independent living, you need to bring in your own caregivers. If care is needed a resident can move into assisted living. We chose to bring in our on Caregiver’s, so that Mom can stay in her wonderful duet. Early on mom was very active in all of the Ponte Palmero extracurricular activities and she appreciated the staff and the opportunities she was given to go winetasting and to theatrical productions. Mom started a poker group at Ponte and she was active in it until Covid. She joined the book club and the wine tasting group. Everyone at Ponte treated my mom as if she was their own mom. They treated her with love and respect. They told her she looked good when she did and tried to make sure that her food was prepared to HER liking. The maintenance group would stop everything to come help her if she needed something like a plumbing fix. When mom passed away peacefully last month, the staff at Ponte did everything they could to help me take care of her stuff and get out of the property quickly. In this day and age when it’s so tough to make sure your elderly parents get the love and support they need, I can’t imagine doing that without mom being at Ponte Palmero. Sincerely, Ellyn D

My mother has dementia and has been living at Ponte Palmero's Memory Care center for about a year. My mother is very happy here; the facility is lovely, and the staff is WONDERFUL!! The caregivers are now part of our extended family, and are always available to help with all of my mother’s needs. Our family is very fortunate to have found such a fantastic new home for our mother!

I moved my parents into the Ponte Palmero assisted living facility in March of 2016. I could not possibly be more pleased with the care my parents have received at Ponte Palmero. Every staff member I have met there -- and I have met dozens -- has been compassionate, highly skilled, gentle with my parents and attentive to their needs. I visited three other assisted living facilities in the Sacramento area before choosing Ponte Palmero for my parents. Ponte Palmero is superior to all of them, and it provides a much better ambiance and more services for a similar cost.

My 96yr old Father-in-law moved to Ponte Palmero 2 months ago. My wife and I and my Father-in-law are very happy with the decision to move to Ponte Palmero. The facilities are very nice and comfortable with an apartment feel not a hallway hospital room feel. The attendants have been very friendly, caring and there to help whenever needed. My father-in-law enjoys the food and the social encounters in the dining room with the other residents who are very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is positive and vibant. We are very pleased.

Our mom and dad moved into PP in August of this year. Their apartment is very nice, truly like a resort condo. All the facilities are well maintained. The staff has been very attentive and the meals served are excellent. This is an upscale retirement community that has embraced our parents and made them feel welcome. After living in the same house for 40+ years moving was a very traumatic life event, however, PP has helped them transition to their new home.
