My mom loved Plantation Oakes. It has an unexpectedly loving environment, where patients are treated like people. During the quiet times at night, I would sometimes hear the staff quietly conversing with patients, and it was apparent that they truly respect and care for those they are trusted to watch over. Additionally, the nurses and CNA’s knew my mom, alerted me to concerns, and were never too busy to give updates, even during a covid outbreak when shorthanded. So thankful to them!

Nice nurses and CNAs but very small rooms with 2 people to each room.. also have been here 3 days now and have yet to see a Dr. Though I have a colostomy bag and the stoma is swollen red hot and very pain the last couple days, more than normal, I've been peeing blood since I got here. Vitals are not taken Daily and blood sugar for a known diabetic with uncontrollable sugar are only taken once every day then shots are blindly given the rest of the day.
