No assistance during feeding, no fallow up during night time found patient male patient sleeping in a female room. Patient wonders throughout the facility alone with out supervision staff do not know where is the patient, no bedding linen available , found patient smelling like urine, no dippers exchange, working whithout shoes patient personal items missing. Not recommended to my enemy.

My uncle is very happy there. He is well cared for and the place is always clean, and smells clean. I see no signs of neglect. The staff is always friendly and willing to help in any way they can. Honestly, I was skeptical at first, but they are great with him.

The Place Nursing in Augusta on Deans Bridge Rd. Took care of my sister and brother-in-law’s father. Ms. Westbrook took care of him. Washed, feed, sing, pray and remind him he was love. He would smile when she enters the room. He also loved Ms. Tish, she kept him laughing and stayed positive. He would asked for his two angels. The facility wasn't dirty. Every day they visited they didn’t smell odor nor did they deal with unprofessionalism. He’s no longer with us. These 2 ladies made his stay wonderful. They would like to thank you, so would I❤️

My spouse was at The Place on Deans Bridge Road recently for Respite care for about a week. I will never use this facility again. I called ahead of time and spoke with the SW. I was told that there would be activities daily for him to participate in and that he would have his meals in the dining room. I later learned that he only left his room to visit another resident. His meals were taken to his room and he was not taken to any activities. He felt really isolated. When I returned a few days early I found him in his room in soiled pjs late afternoon. The bed was soiled and it was obvious that no care had been provided to him on that day. I felt so hurt and disappointed that he was treated this way. Wish that I had read these reviews before taking him there.

To: The Place at Deans Bridge From: Dr. Audrey Brooks Review: September 13, 2023 This statement reflects our recognition of the level of care and support given and demonstrated for Mr. Bert Maxwell by the staff of “The Place at Deans Bridge”. My brother, Bert Maxwell has been a resident of “The Place at Deans Bridge since 2019. There has been several transitions in staff members since his entry; however, the level of care and support have been very consistent and attentive to his personal care and needs. An unusual and ongoing structure within our family dynamics creates special challenges for the staff at times; however, Bert’s level of care and attention provided by the staff has never changed. His care has always been the primary focus. The siblings of Bert Maxwell would like to personally and publicly acknowledge and thank the following people for their commitment and professionalism demonstrated in his personal daily care: 1. Administrator 2. Office Manager 3. Medical Records 4. Social Worker 5. LPN 6. All staff aides in his daily living skills Their collective efforts to provide the quality of life necessary for all residents, gives us the assurance that Bert is in the right place. The siblings of Bert Maxwell would like to say “Thank You” for all that you do. Dr. Audrey Brooks Sister
