Pinnacle Assisted Living Services Kettle View is an assisted living community in Whitewater, Wisconsin, providing a safe, home-like environment for individuals who do not have the capacity to live independently.
Staff are trained to support residents in building and maintaining their activities of daily living and independence through a hopeful and encouraging attitude, a structured yet supportive environment, personalized support plans with realistic goals, and opportunities for group living and social interaction.
Pinnacle Assisted Living Services was officially established in 2014, founded on a partnership between individuals with decades of combined experience in community-based residential care. The foundation began in 2013 when Rodney and Tammie Lohff opened their own Adult Family Home, guided and supported by Richard Gorniak, who brought over 40 years of nursing experience and extensive knowledge as an AFH owner and operator.
With backgrounds in operational leadership and education, the Lohffs partnered with Richard to expand services, ultimately opening additional homes throughout Rock, Walworth, and Jefferson counties. Though Richard passed away in 2021, his legacy continues through his son Eddie, along with Teegan, Rodney, and Tammie, who honor his commitment to quality care and community service.
Today, PALS operates 12 homes and serves 32 residents with a staff of over 70 caregivers. The organization has successfully completed three acquisitions: Gorniak AFH (2022), Brotoloc (2022), and Lohff's Assisted Living (2025).
