THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE! It may be a beautiful facility and look clean; however, the care and the food are terrible. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO SEND A LOVED ONE IF THEY NEED WOUND CARE OR OSTOMY CARE! I toured the facility before moving my grandma there, and they assured me that they had adequate staffing, great wound care, and were knowledgeable about ileostomies. This turned out to be completely false! I had to come and care for her many times due to their incompetence when it came to adhering the ostomy bag. I also had to purchase several medical supplies needed for it because they said that they could not get them. There is no excuse for this! It is all covered and supplied through her insurance. They would not regularly empty the bag as required, and it would constantly leak. Because they were doing it incorrectly, they were changing it up to 5 times a day, which is unheard of! An ostomy bag holds, on average, for 3 to 5 days when it is done correctly and emptied on schedule. They also would apply extra tape to hold the bag when it was leaking instead of changing it! They would leave stool on her skin for hours which caused major break down of her skin and burns. They wouldn't change it for four hours or until I got there and did it myself.<br><br>Her wound stayed infected the entire time she was there and grew in size. It became so bad that when we left the facility, her doctor had to make it larger and start a wound vac. One staff member even swatted at my grandma's hand when they were changing her ostomy, and my grandma wanted to help. They were accusing my grandma of "fiddling with it" and causing it to leak. I really should have reported this facility to the state, but I did not have the time or energy. I hope our experience will help others find a better place for their loved one, and that this facility will take a good, long look at what is going on with the care they provide and make changes. I hope they will be honest with themselves and others when they consider accepting patients who need this type of care. I will commend the therapy staff. The only thing this place has going for them is great physical, occupational, and speech therapy. So, if that is all you need, it might be an okay fit for you but be aware of the nursing staff.

My grandad came here post stroke, he eventually walked out of the facility on his own accord. Cannot say enough good things about the therapy team here!

My husband stayed at Pine Ridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for several weeks for rehabilitation. The PT therapists, nurses, and CNAs worked very hard to help him recover quickly. The building itself was very clean, with no unpleasant odors, and the food was excellent as well. Whether someone stays for a long time or just for a short visit, I believe they would feel comfortable, cared for, and at peace here.<br>Specially thanks to Ms. Hiwot, and Nurse , CNA staff!
