Our experience at Peak Resources was wonderful. The nursing staff was very responsive to my mother’s needs. We always got the information we needed to plan for discharge. The facility was very clean.

That place is like hell. I can't even put it into words. All the elderly who are unable to move and weak are helpless, and it is very bad there. Please don't send your loved one to this place if you're afraid of karma. I don't know who owns and manages this place; they should even be sued. I feel so bad for all the residents here. I don't know how they keep going with such horrible services. Where is the authority figure for this place? Don't forget that you will get old too one day. The government needs to pay attention.

Our experience has been that the people who work here are caring and want to make a difference. The staff gave a Thanksgiving meal to the residents and family members who signed up. It was a nice experience and good food, a great way to get families involved. No place is perfect, but I would definitely recommend based on our experience.

My brother was in rehab after breaking his ankle. The OT and PT care was adequate. However, the rest of the care was well below par. He would lie in bed for hours before anyone came to change his Depends, even after pushing the call button. The food was barely edible to inedible. He finally quit trying to eat it, it was so unappetizing. There were a couple of hard working and caring staff members on the rehab floor, but many of the CNA's, and nurses did not follow the surgeon's orders who operated on him for after-surgery care. When staff members came into his room, they very seldom identified themselves. Some had no identification on them. I pointed this out to the administrator, and he said they were traveling staff, not Peak Resources employees. However, I thought anyone entering a patient's room should have ID. They were to weigh him weekly. He was there eight weeks+, and he was weighed three times. He was never told what meds he was taking. I guess he just trusted them to bring the right meds. The administrative personnel were not much better. We were, what I would call ambushed, by a social worker, a financial administrator, a nurse, and a PT, when they called us together for a meeting, thinking his insurance was going to stop covering him. They were totally void of caring about the patient or his family members. They just wanted to be sure they got any money owed to the facility. They got every out-of-pocket penny that was owed. The reports they made were all clean and polished, but the reports did not reveal the true nature of the care he was given. When he was discharged, no one came into the room to help. We had to help him dress, gather his belongings, get him in a wheelchair, retrieve a luggage rack, and roll him outside to the car. I had to ask his nurse, who happened to be male and large enough to help us, to step outside with us and help him get in the car. Otherwise, we would still be sitting at the curb, trying to leave Peak Resources. The time there, over all, was a very bad experience,

Absolutely do not recommend. I’m not sure if they are short staffed or what their problem may be but they are extremely negligent. My grandmother who is a fall risk would leave her light on at least an hour before receiving help most of the time. She would never get her medicine on time and the nurses never came to check on her at any point. She was there a week and they only bathed her once. They promised to take her to the “beauty salon” to wash her hair and they never did. There was multiple occasions when other patients would wonder into her room that she did not know. We had to discharge her because it was absolutely ridiculous.
