We moved my mom into Peace and Comfort in October 2022. It is a hard decision to make when it comes to the care and well-being of a parent. My sisters and I met with Ruth a few different times and came up with an agreed plan of care, to meet my mom’s needs at the time and in the coming days/months/years. My mom lived at P&C for just over 2 years. During that time, she was cared for by loving caregivers who tried their best to meet her ever-changing needs. There were tough days when decisions on care, etc. needed to be made, and I was always able to have clear communication with Ruth on what was happening/needed to happen. My mom enjoyed Ruth and the caregivers, who were all with her even in her final moments. I am grateful for the care my mom was given and would recommend P&C to others looking for care options for a loved one.
