My grandmother has lived in this building for over 10 years. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the building has not been in the greatest conditions within the last few weeks. More recently when I’ve visited one of the elevators has been down for the last two months. This has caused a great concern for my grandmother’s well being in the case of an emergency. The elevators are used frequently and this cause a great delay when moving about for laundry, exit purposes etc.

I moved into the building in August 2023 ! I am disabled so all the necessary grab bars were indeed provided. My apartment was fully refurbished , new appliances/ cabinets in the kitchen and new air conditioners ! The floors were immaculate and because the floor is black vinyl tiles , it’s hard to maintain . I had a minor problem with bed bugs but I was able to address that on my own . Management has done their part in exterminating frequently . Holes have been blocked where mice have come through and I am grateful for having a balcony which is added spaced ! The major problem has been having only one elevator in operation most of the time . One has been inoperable more than it has been operable . Another issue I have is being charged $37 to use your debit card to pay your rent . It is so inconvenient to have to run to the post office to purchase a money order! Sometimes , a home is what you make it and I’m happy with my situation especially since I don’t have to worry about paying my own utilities or my own parking . Plus , the tenants are friendly and the building is very quiet at night and clean . I have not had any issues with any member of staff , so this is my experience !

Elevators always broke mold in the bathroom. Poor treatment of the tenants by the office workers . Only one office worker was polite and helpful.

Horrible. My father lived here for 3 miserable years. Staff in the office are dismissive and that’s when the office is open. Mice and roaches roam the building like they pay rent. I put in a service call to have the smoke detector in his apartment repaired….no one came and after a month of beeping, my father hit the alarm with a broom and the cover/battery fell off. It sat on his wall unit for over a year waiting for repair. He was hospitalized for some time last Fall, the day he returned to the apartment the state was doing inspections. He got fined for not having the smoke detector cover on. He wasn’t told this, just saw the $100 fine in his account. No communication, no effort, no respect. They are the worse.

People are allowed to have surround sound systems with subwoofer. My apartment is constantly vibrating, my bed is also vibrating and shaking. I have not a a peaceful night sleep since I moved in. This is described as a senior and disabled living facility There is no reason to have that kind of power in a apartment building. Management knows who it is and what they have. This is not privately owned. This is subsidized housing and there had to be rules against the type of problem. Management is no help when it comes to complaints. I am differently looking for another place to live. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a absolute 0
