Beautiful new retirement community in a very convenient Moorestown location, tucked near shopping, restaurants, medical offices, and easy I-295 access while still maintaining a calm residential feel. I’ve been following the project since the early construction stages and it’s been interesting watching the community take shape. The layout feels thoughtfully designed for relaxed independent living, with a modern, clean atmosphere and close access to everyday essentials nearby. Feels like one of those places designed to make everyday living a little simpler, quieter, and more comfortable 😊

Placing a parent in a new living environment is one of the most emotional and difficult decisions a family can make, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Parker's Bend. This is not an assisted living or nursing facility. It is truly independent living and feels more like a beautiful condo building with a doorman and an on site restaurant. The amenities are exceptional and include a fitness center, movie theater, hair salon, business center, and more. One feature that especially touched our hearts is that the movie theater also serves as a place of worship, where 10 AM Mass is live streamed and the Eucharist is offered. That alone brought incredible comfort to my family. From the moment we walked in, I knew this place was special. Lauren, the daytime receptionist, is the first person you meet when you enter, and she is warm, welcoming, and professional. As someone who works in sales, I truly believe first impressions matter, and Lauren sets the perfect tone for Parker’s Bend. Matt, the property manager who lives on site with his wife Katie, gave us our tour. He was knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure this was the right fit for my mother. We toured on a Friday and signed the agreement by Sunday. I was sold within minutes, and it only took a little convincing for my brother to see what I already knew. This was the right move. My mother is 89 years old and will be turning 90 in a few months. She previously lived in Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, while I live in Southampton, New Jersey and work in Moorestown. Every doctor appointment required a two hour round trip commute, which was exhausting and stressful for both of us. Parker’s Bend is now less than half a mile from my office, and the impact has been life changing, not only for my mother but for me as well. The community offers so many activities that truly enrich daily life, including yoga & other fitness classes, bingo, and happy hours, just to name a few. Residents live independently and have the option to hire additional care if needed. This is not a place where people are simply placed. It is a community where people truly live. My mother spent her first night there last night after I spent several days furnishing her apartment and making it feel like home. I had breakfast with her this morning before heading to my office, and it was one of the most peaceful and reassuring moments I have had in a long time. She is already making friends, and in just one day, I have seen a noticeable change in her spirit. I truly believe she will live longer and happier because of this move. My only regret is not doing this sooner. Thank you to Matt, his wife Katie, Lauren, the Culinary Team and the entire staff at Parker’s Bend for making this transition so seamless and for giving our family such peace of mind.

After having my mother in a different independent living facility in Marlton, we moved her to Parkers Bend. The best decision we ever made! Everyone at every level from management to dining room staff, to housekeeping staff, etc. couldn’t be nicer and more helpful. For less than what my mother was paying, she has a beautiful one bedroom apartment with full size washer and dryer all new appliances and weekly housekeeping. Satellite tv, internet & landline are all included. Meals are very good and tailored to the senior population (as well as a wonderful buffet for lunch oh Sundays featuring prime rib & other specialties). There are many events and special dinners, etc., as well as daily movies and activities to keep the residence as busy as they would like. I highly recommend Parkers Bend as the best Independent Senior living facility in southern NJ!

After physically visiting 20 Independent Living Communities, we decided to settle at Parker’s Bend. What a great decision. This building is gorgeous. Our appointment is outstanding. Our staff is like family. We are truly spoiled. Come visit us and see that what I’m saying is true. Charlie K

My husband and I downsized and moved to Parkers Bend a couple of weeks ago. Last night, after enjoying yet another delish dinner in the dining room, he turned to me and said, "aside from getting married (and having our children), moving here was the best decision we ever made." I couldn't agree more. The staff goes above and beyond for the residents. Everyone we've met has been kind and welcoming. We're thrilled to be here and would highly recommend this community.
