The worst place ever! My mom was checked out the next day. Her room had a messed up ceiling and roaches crawling next to her head board! Rude un welcoming front desk people. Rude nurses. Absolutely disgusting place with people wking just to collect a check. This dump needs to be shut down

I would never ever recommend this facility to anyone that loves a family member. My dad was transported to this facility after a hospital stay for rehab. I read reviewes and went to see the facility in person before his arrival. However, the visit was on Memorial Day weekend and quite, seemed safe. I removed him after 24 hours because of lack of care, compassion, medical knowledge, response time, bad attitudes, sitting in feces 6x, rude CNA’s, chaos of care, loud atmosphere. Many of the nursing staff are hard to understand with a language barrier. Frank the RN would bang on his tray table to wake my father up who had CHF to take meds or whatever he was in his room to do that startled my father. I went up 3 x a day, my sisters once a day in a 24 hour time. My dad was always in horrible shape. The call buttons were always on the floor, bed adjustment buttons on the floor, my dad asked the CNA to please hand him the button and was ignored as she walked out. My sister and I literally wheeled my dad to my car without checking in/out and never got a call to see if he was safe or in our hands. They do not care one bit and could care less about human beings in my opinion. It was the worst possible care I’ve ever witnessed in my life and I’ve been in healthcare for over 25 yrs. I rarely leave bad reviews but if you love your family member be ready to do regular check ins and constant care to advocate for them. 8 hours after admission I had a talk with the head director about lack of care. I brought my dad to my home and have zero regrets.

My experience at Park Manor was over all a positive one. I was there as a short term rehabilitation patient after a fractured spine and concussion. The therapy department is really amazing. My physical therapist (Laura), occupational therapist (Sherri) & Speech therapist (Mandy) really worked within my restrictions/precautions while still making sure I was challenged. I came in having to be completely flat on a bed and left able to walk, sit for long periods of time, & improved cognitive skills/functioning. They were not only nice and fun working with but truly great at their jobs. I also had two really incredible nurses that went above and beyond named Bianca and Rita. Highly recommend them! Their bedside manner was unlike many nurses today. The amenities there also includes a hair salon which you receive a free haircut your first visit. Also lots of different activities for all residents throughout the week such as bingo, crafts, happy hour, and even a community meeting where residents can address concerns and grievances. You might be thinking well then why only 4 stars? Well because there are a few things that could use improvement. The nutrition department for example is incredibly subpar. While certainly I did not go there for the food, nutrition is so important in the healing process. It's also important to have the correct diet such as diabetic or heart healthy. That was not the case during my stay. Everyone recieved a regular diet. The food was not good frankly. My veteran husband stated MREs were better than what was served. And to make matters even more frustrating, more often than not we did not receive our previously selected menu preferences which made the process seem like a waste of time entirely. There also was an issue with the techs being incredibly rude and frequently ignoring call lights. With the exception of a few really great ones such as Nicole, Christina & Sari (probably spelled that wrong)...the techs were not reliable to say the least. The good ones were exceptional and the rest simply did not seem to care for the patients. It was just a job. As mentioned previously my overall experience and stay was a positive one. I connected with my roommate really well. (There are shared and private rooms). If I had to do it again for some reason I would return there....but with their help now I can return to volunteer rather than needing their services!

My family’s experience with Park Manor was deeply disturbing, and I would strongly caution anyone considering placing a loved one there.<br><br>My father was discharged from St. Luke’s Health to Park Manor for skilled nursing and rehabilitation. Unfortunately, his condition rapidly deteriorated during his stay.<br><br>While at Park Manor, he developed a serious infection/UTI, became profoundly weak and non-ambulatory, experienced severe delirium/confusion, and increasingly required assistance with toileting and basic care. My sister and I became alarmed by what appeared to be inadequate hygiene and sanitation. At one point, my sister found feces left on his bed. The attached photos also show the condition of the room itself, including dirt, stains, debris, and grime buildup around and underneath the bed.<br><br>As his condition worsened, staff could not clearly answer basic questions regarding his care, including when labs were last drawn, whether repeat urine cultures had been performed, whether his infection was improving, or when he had last been evaluated by a physician. We were told they “typically” waited until antibiotics were completed before repeating labs, despite the fact that he remained severely confused and non-lucid nearly a week into treatment.<br><br>We also witnessed multiple instances where staff handled him roughly while he verbally told them to stop, yet they continued despite his objections. NO ONE should experience this!<br><br>Park Manor repeatedly minimized the severity of his decline until he ultimately had to be transported directly from the facility to Memorial Hermann ER. He was found to be severely dehydrated, profoundly weak, significantly anemic, and suffering from ongoing delirium and infection-related complications requiring IV fluids, blood transfusions, specialist evaluations, and extensive medical workup.<br><br>This experience left our family with serious concerns regarding sanitation, patient monitoring, physician oversight, infection management, communication with families, and the overall treatment of medically fragile elderly patients. Families deserve transparency, dignity, and competent care for their loved ones, and that was absolutely not our experience at Park Manor
