My stepmother has been there since my father passed away. She is so happy. The staff do a great job of taking care of everything she needs. Activities director comes up with new and fun things for her to do all the time. And she has her own place which feels like her apartment. I'm so grateful to the staff of Palmer Place for taking such good care of my stepmom. If you have someone who needs extra help, do that loved one a favor and get them into Palmer Place.

My sisters husband unfortunately died in May and my sister was unable to care for herself due to early dementia. I took my sister to several assisted living facilities to tour them and she was extremely resistant to moving out of her home. I had to allow her to fail in her own home so she could see she needed help. Her room was completely remodeled with new flooring and walls painted. She even has a door leading outside on her own patio. When filled her room with her own furniture and furnishings. I called her after her first night and asked how it went. She said “ I turned over in the middle of the night and saw my chair and my room and smiled and It’s mine!” She now tells me every time I ask her “ I am very content here”. She eats 3 homemade meals a day, they do her laundry, change her sheets and give her her meds. Her mood is stable and I have seen her smile more in the last 4 months than I have in years. My stress level has definitely decreased since I know every two hours they lay eyes on her. I can not say enough about Palmer Place and what they have done for our family

The staff is great but short staffed all the time. The food has gone down hill in the years they have sandwiches most of the time. The residents do not get a choice of food to choose from.

My 85 year old Aunt is so well taken care of. She needs help occasionally and they are there but not in your face every time you turn around. Very clean, beautiful accommodations, and super friendly staff.
