Our experience with Overland Terrace Healthcare and Wellness Centre is one our family will always hold close to our hearts. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff who made such a profound difference during a time when we needed it most. Lani, the RN supervisor, leads with both expertise and kindness. Tanika, the social worker, brings skill and resources in ways that truly matter. Mendi, the administrator, ensures everything runs with empathy, care and attention to detail. And Ellen and Chris—your warmth and dedication did not go unnoticed. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. Within just a few days, what initially felt unfamiliar became something that felt like family. The staff are not only knowledgeable and attentive, but they treat patients with a level of compassion that goes far beyond expectations. You can feel that they genuinely care. When our loved one completed treatment, we were brought to tears because of the deep appreciation we felt for everyone who had supported us through such a vulnerable time. If you are looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with dignity, kindness, and heartfelt care, this is it! While the setting itself is modest, the level of compassion, dedication, and expertise provided by the staff is truly exceptional and far more meaningful than appearances. From the moment our family walked into Overland Terrace Healthcare and Wellness Centre, we didn’t quite know what to expect—but what we discovered inside was something far more meaningful and rare: genuine, compassionate, and deeply human care. We will always be grateful.

Both of my grandparents stayed at Overland Terrace for about three months, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about the staff. They are extremely competent and genuinely good at what they do. The nurses took great care of my grandparents, the memory specialist communicated clearly and consistently, and everyone was wonderful to work with during a stressful time for our family. Mendy, the facility administrator, truly stands out. He is exceptionally kind, capable, and helpful. My grandma literally followed him around for her first few weeks there, and he was always patient and warm with her. He regularly checked in on both of my grandparents, and when it came time to transition them to a new long term care facility, he went above and beyond to help, arranging communication with a nearby facility and following up with me to make sure their transition was smooth. He was genuinely concerned about their well being, which meant a lot to us. Lourdes and Yesenia in the financial office were also incredible. They handled all the Medi-Cal paperwork and spent hours on the phone with government agencies to get everything set up. Even after my grandparents left the facility, they are still helping us submit an appeal to Medi-Cal. Sheina in admissions was also wonderful. She personally went to the hospital to check on my grandpa before he was admitted and helped make sure their admission process was smooth and stress free. That extra effort meant a lot to us as we were trying to figure out paths forward. While the facilities themselves are not the most up to date or visually appealing, the staff more than make up for it. The people here are exceptional, and that is what truly matters. I am very grateful to the entire team at Overland Terrace for taking such good care of my grandparents and supporting our family.

I cant say enough good things about this nursing felicity! i left my mother here and i cant believe we didnt try this fasility earlier! The faculty were so amazing and welcoming especially the kind manager mendy. I cant believe him and that woman serena made my kind, wonderful mother feel welcome

Unfortunately we got to the point where we couldn’t keep taking care of mama on our own and knew we would need some help. Overland terrace was recommended to me by a friend and they were super helpful from start to end. Especially Mendy, he answered all my questions with patience and kindness. I highly recommend this facility to all up and coming old people.

Dropped my mother off, it was exceptionally difficult to watch her at home as her dementia worsened. but she seemed to love the clerk mendy, she commented on how tall and handsome he was, can’t say I disagree. She seems to really fit in with everyone there and was having a great time. She told me about a mike who was real sweet. Highly recommend and if I ever need to be put in a home, I hope it’s as good as this one.
