Residents can wonder freely, and safely. The staff are extremely friendly and trained to care for persons with Alzheimer's and Dementia and the cure pot belly pig "sugar" is a nice touch. 😊

This facility, Our Countryside Resort, was always at the top of our list of memory care facilities when I was working as a hospice social worker. It wasn’t just the excellent care that our hospice patients received there, it was also the care that I and our hospice staff received when we did visits there. The administration & staff always remembered that all patients are unique with unique needs. The owner & staff were always willing to do anything to make things easier for patients and their families. The staff was always the same-friendly and helpful. Since I visited patients in several different facilities, I noticed that the turnover in most of them changed frequently. That wasn’t true of Our Countryside Resort. That consistency meant a lot to me and our patients. I had no problem referring to them. Overall great place!!

My husband and I are entertainers, he plays the guitar and we both sing. We have performed at, Our Countryside Resort many times over the last several years. The residents all seem happy and content, they are very well taken care of in a comfortable home setting. You can tell that the staff truly cares for the residents by their interaction and attentiveness to them.

Countryside Resort is a place that is uniquely suited to people needing memory care. The outdoor space allows residents to feel freedom and see animals in a warm and safe environment. The staff is very caring, authentic and well trained. The smaller size and layout is also ideal for people with memory loss. I visited many memory care facilities in two states for my mother and Countryside Resort felt the most homey. It is also very affordable compared to many of the more corporate & institutional feeling places.

My mother in law has been with Our Countryside Resort for about 5 years now and is very well taken care of. The staff is very family oriented and attentive. Residents have full range of facility even being able to go outside when ever they want. The outside area is fully gated and secure so residents can not wander off and get lost. The animals they have on site are a nice touch for the residents. When we first moved her in my mother in law had a bad body rash and some severe crusting of hands and feet that her other facility couldn’t get rid of, with in two weeks of her being at Our Countryside Resort everything cleared up and we have never had those issues again. All it took was following doctors orders to use a special cream two to three times a day. We were also told “your welcome to come anytime, no notice necessary.What you see is what you get.” Every time we have stopped by she is clean and well taken care of and well fed. We have always been notified of any sickness or doctor appointments that are necessary. We’ve had no issues or complaints. My mother in law seems at peace and content. We would recommend Our Countryside Resort to anyone needing memory care for a family member.
