Toured facility. Staff were very nice. P.T. room was very well organized for loved one to complete rehab before returning home. I suggest if you are looking for a loved one to go to rehab after the hospital you should tour orchards at Tulare before making your decision.

The lady who answered the doer was very patient with me as I signed in and showed me right where my friend was. The facility was very clean. My friend spoke very highly of her nurses. Thank you for the care and kindness given to my friend!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would! My mom was here for 24 hrs and ended up being admitted back to the hospital because they paid no mind to my moms shortness of breath, nor did they follow any discharge treatment’s. I wish I took a picture because this place looks like a zoo as soon as I walked in, it was chaos. Nurses said tightness in chest wasn’t a sign of pain or a concern, they don’t answer the phone at all and the night shift was rude to my mom because she needed cleaning and left her flat which she couldn’t breathe well and didn’t even cover. If you love your family member, keep them far away from here.

Worst place to have your loved one at. They are very neglectful. They left my father in a dirty diaper all day & left him with vomit on his sheets all day. They never answer the phone. If I could give this place zero stars I would. My father is on his death bed due to the negligence of these people.

Currently receiving IV antibiotic treatment at orchards. When I first arrived my room was FILTHY. Obviously hadn't been occupied for a good while. Food is hit and miss. Mostly miss. Portion sizes are random at best. Their rules seem arbitrary and when asking the staff why a certain policy exists the response has usually been that because it is policy. The Nursing director, Liz [Redacted], doesn't seem to want to engage in any type of adult conversation and at least with me responds to everything except you blindly following whatever she is telling you the way you would expect a preschool teacher that should find a new career would speak to a rowdy child. To sum it up my experience thus far has been terrible. The only reason my rating is 2 stars is because of the rest of the staff is amazing. Every Nurse, CNA, and assorted support staff I have interacted with has been amazing. They're professional, compassionate, and passionate about what they do. Also should mention the patients this facility mainly houses are either suffering from some form of dementia or here for hospice care. So the rules and policies are based on caring for those demographics. I imagine this usually isn't an issue. However it seems silly to be expected to be expected to blindly comply when you are completely independent and cognitively at 100%. I.E. for someone stuffing advanced dementia and at risk to wander off it makes perfect sense to have the window in the room not open. For an adult receiving IV antibiotic treatment but otherwise is perfectly healthy it's kind of strange to not allow them fresh air. Just saying TL;DR: Staff doing the best they can with the little resources they are given. Admin has their head where the sun don't shine
