I've been working at Oceanview since September 2025, and I absolutely love it! I wake up every morning excited to come to work because I genuinely enjoy being here. What makes Oceanview so special is the teamwork and dedication shown by every department in caring for our patients.<br><br>When you walk into the building, you're greeted by smiling faces from staff throughout the facility. You can tell that people truly care about what they do and aren't simply here for a paycheck.<br><br>**Housekeeping** always does an amazing job keeping the facility spotless and smelling fresh. It doesn't have the typical nursing home odors that many people expect.<br><br>**Maintenance** works hard to keep the facility in excellent condition and is always quick to address and resolve any issues that arise.<br><br>**Nurses** here are incredible. In my 15+ years of working in healthcare, I have never worked alongside such an outstanding group of nurses. They are skilled, compassionate, and kind-hearted. Whenever a CNA asks for assistance, they are always willing to help. Not once have I heard anyone say, "That's not my job."<br><br>**CNAs** at Oceanview are truly exceptional. The teamwork among the CNAs is something you don't often find at other facilities. They genuinely care for their patients and treat them as if they were their own family members.<br><br>The **Therapy Department** works tirelessly to help patients achieve their goals and is always friendly and encouraging. One thing that stands out is the daily 10 a.m. group activity run by the RNAs. Patients absolutely love it! It keeps them active, engaged, and motivated. In all my years of experience, I've never seen anything quite like it. Walking by and seeing patients smiling, participating, and enjoying physical activity is truly heartwarming.<br><br>Something else I would like to highlight—something I have never witnessed in my 15+ years in healthcare—is how involved the administrator is with both staff and patient care. You'll see him answering call lights, pushing meal carts, and passing out meal trays. He listens to staff concerns and addresses them when needed. He is frequently seen throughout the hallways, smiling and greeting everyone. He is not the typical administrator who sits behind a desk all day. The fact that administration is so involved with both staff and patients says a great deal about the culture and values of this facility.<br><br>I am incredibly grateful to be part of such an amazing team that provides exceptional care every day. If you're looking for a facility for a loved one where people genuinely care and strive to provide the best care possible, Oceanview is the place to be.

I am a retired nurse and my husband and I have been caring for our aging parents for the past eight years. During that time, our family has experienced our share of hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. In our experience, Ocean View Post Acute stands apart.<br><br>Never before have we seen such a strong partnership between Physical Therapy and Nursing. They make something incredibly difficult look easy. And we know firsthand that it is anything but.<br><br>Our mom is a vulnerable 88-year-old navigating a difficult journey. The staff are responsive, attentive, and compassionate. They visibly slow down for her when she needs it, speak to her with dignity and respect, and encourage her while continuing to push her toward her goals. They do this even on the busiest days, when it is clear they are working hard to meet the needs of everyone in their care.<br><br>No group of people is perfect, and neither is Ocean View. But what we see every day is the striving. The teamwork. The professionalism. The humanity.<br><br>We don't know whether Mom will ultimately recover from her trauma. But what we do know is that Ocean View is giving her the best opportunity to do so. And in the end, that's all any family can ask of the people entrusted with the care of someone they love.

This is the third time that our daughter has recovered from a long illness at Ocean View. The nurses, therapists and support staff are professional and supportive. Our daughter gets excellent care.They are the best!

My mother in law was in this place for like 3 weeks. They were all very pleasant. The food was great. It was nice and clean. they took really good care of her.
