This place is definitely not good some of the things I have witnessed while visiting older gentleman with dementia walking up and down the hall for 15 minutes asking for help opening other people's doors walking into their bedroom someone had to get up and go get the nurses one was with the client the other two were on the computer sitting at the nurse's desk while this was happening. It is supposed to be a rehabilitation center they only do physical rehab one time of day when doctors at the hospital ask for two to three times a day. Doctors also recommended the patient stand up everyone to 2 hours. I had a family member in there had never had an accident was not incontinent when I got there they had a diaper on them because they were too lazy to answer the nurses call button when the people had to use the restroom a 15 minute wait in a bed imagine the dignity lost by a human being laying in a bed that's supposed to have a nurse taken care of them. They claim to be able to care for memory care patients on their website there is not a memory care doctor on staff over the weekend they cut back and people that are supposed to get physical therapy aren't even on the list. Babe leave them laying in the bed for 2 days they give them their medicines obviously change their diapers and feed them but don't do the rehab it's actually called Oasis rehabilitation that's in the name. Isaac Laufer, Chaim and Max liebowitz have gone the extra distance to maximize the profit while making as little effort to care for the patients as they can get away. 2 different head nurses admitted they are understaffed and don't have the ability to care for your loved ones with memory problems the way they should be. Honestly if your loved ones are only get to work with a rehabilitation specialist once a day are they even a Rehab facility.

This facility is extremely amazing. Besides the friendly staff every whole way you walk down was sparkling. Every room was so well kept in every patient was happy. It was a joy to see a facility like this be so pristine.

I am giving one star for one reason. My family member was displaying obvious signs of a stroke. Slumped over to one side, couldn't move her arm, etc. all the signs of a stroke. Despite family members' requests, the staff did not call 911 for over 2 hours! Everyone knows you have to respond to stroke symptoms FAST!!! We alerted the nursing staff to her condition. Yet, they said they had to get the nursing supervisor then a doctor to approve the 911 call. Insanity. I think they hesitate to call 911 because they have to pay for an ambulette service to take residents to the hospital. Complete and total neglect! There were 2 staff members that deserve praise. Her CNA, Serge was great, very responsive and helpful. One of her nurses, Jasmine was very kind to her during her stay there.

Highly Recommend Oasis Rehabilitation and Nursing I can’t say enough good things about Oasis Rehabilitation and Nursing. My mother has been a resident here, and the staff has truly exceeded our expectations. They are wonderful—caring, sensitive, and incredibly supportive every step of the way. What stands out most is how genuinely interested they seem in what’s best for the patient. They’re always open to suggestions and happy to collaborate with family members, which makes such a huge difference when you’re navigating care for a loved one. The facility itself is thoughtfully designed and well-maintained. The rooms are consistently clean, and the dining room is a highlight with its beautiful vaulted ceiling that gives the space a bright, welcoming feel. There’s also a cute complementary bakery that adds warmth and comfort to the vibe of the place . It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a comfortable and dignified environment rather than a sterile one. If you’re looking for a place where compassion meets professionalism, Oasis is an excellent choice. We’re so grateful for the care my mother receives here—thank you to the entire team!

So far as of 12/25/25 ..My dad is here from the hospital to be here for the REHAB. Hopefully he will get stronger & able to come home. REHAB ENTRANCE is 1st sign/driveway in. Right after the storage place. EXIT is the next driveway. There are signs telling you. •IMPORTANT to know the parking is HORRIBLE. For some reason idky during the week it is worse & daytime to have chance to find a parking spot when coming in. Good chance you will have to park on either side of the road FROWEIN which is also called Moriches Bypass. They are in middle of building another parking lot but it won't be finished until Spring. •There are a couple handicapped spots. •Hours as of this writing 12/25/25 are 8-8. If you need/want to stay or come earlier/later than these hours speak to them as doors lock at 8pm safety reasons of course. •One HUGE plus to me is the place is very clean & doesn't have that smell as hospitals do! •Another is they have an actual BAKERY inside for those here & they can look up their name/room # to see if there is any special diet a person is on/must have. ☆ They have Sugar FREE items too (more than just one 😃). •There is no charge for items, FREE goodies such as cookies, cake, pastries etc They have hot drinks on one side & cold on the other side (including fresh water) FREE. Couple small tables if you want sit there/wheelchair in. The door into the bakery is wide enough to wheelchair/walker in. There are other places to sit besides the patients room. In the lobby there are couches. Chairs usually in the hallway (can pull in room if need extra sitting space). •When come in there is someone at desk to help you. •For holiday very nice decorating around including the halls. •The staff we have met daytime & couple nights stayed overnight have been good. ☆ NOTE if you think about staying overnight with patient know you will be sleeping in the same hard chair in rooms (there are NO accommodations like hospitals sometimes do) This is a REHAB, rules are different & each place differs. I can't speak to rooms with more than 1 person as this is a "private/1 patient" room. •There are rooms where they do PT, OT etc •A small library here. •Another room for activities they do for residents. I believe after period of time they can give you a schedule of upcoming events here. ~I hope 🙏 I helped folk looking for info more detailed. Be safe & well.
