Several families consistently praise the clinical and personal care provided by nursing and hospice staff, describing attentive, knowledgeable caregivers who treat residents with genuine compassion. One family wrote, "they cared for her like she was their own grandma." Administrators and staff are described as approachable and committed to communication. However, one family reported serious concerns including inconsistent front-desk staffing, unresponsiveness to calls and messages, and an incident involving alleged theft from a resident's belongings, issues that point to operational and oversight challenges.

“Home is where the heart is” — and that’s exactly what comes to mind every time I step into The Views of Marion. As an outside nurse, I visit many facilities, and I can confidently say the long-term care staff here are exceptional. They truly know their residents and care for them as if they were members of their own family. Every time I arrive, I am met with a detailed and thorough report — and I always think, WOW. With so many residents to care for, their attentiveness and familiarity with each individual is remarkable. The staff are consistently warm, welcoming, and professional. I’m always greeted with kindness and hospitality. When I leave, I often think that if I ever had to place a loved one in a long-term care facility, The Views of Marion would absolutely be my first choice. Special recognition to Qunesha “Q,” LPN, Lisa, LPN, Kourtney, Restorative Nurse, and Devin, MDS. Your genuine tenderness, joy, and loving care do not go unnoticed. You bring comfort not only to your residents and their families, but also to those of us who work alongside you. I have never walked into the building without being greeted by your smiles. You are deeply appreciated and respected.

Our family member is receiving wonderful care at The Views. Attentive administrators and staff who very much demonstrate concern for our mother’s care. Staff is approachable and have a sincere commitment to open communication. Highly recommend!

The Views of Marion cared for my grandma two different occasions. They offered rehab and hospice care. Both stays the staff were amazing. They cared for her like she was their own grandma. The facility was very clean! The nursing and hospice staff were very caring and kept her comfortable until her last day.

I would not recommend The Views of Marion Assisted Living to anyone. My mother is currently a resident there. They can’t keep staff from the front desk to cleaning services ect. There is hardly ever anyone at the front desk when visiting or trying to call. I have even left messages with no call back or response. The last cleaning staff that was there actually stole money right out of my mom’s purse while she was in the seating area waiting for her apartment to be cleaned. She had expressed her concern and all they said was “Did you have your door locked?” Now why would she have her door locked if her apartment was being “so called” cleaned? The transportation for residents is crap too. The Executive director Dallas Urban does nothing but sweep things under the rug and gives you nothing but the run around. They have changed television services without informing residents leaving them to have absolutely nothing to watch which is most of their livelihood. Nothing works there from the wall fountain upon entering, to the coffee machine, or it works with no cups stocked, the ice cream machine is always broken. The place is a joke for as much as the residents have to pay for rent a month. The food has improved somewhat but is still not all that great. In case of an emergency it is probably best to just call 911. The response time there is terrible. My father passed away in the “Memory Care Unit” which was exceptional. I would move her out of there but she has become accustomed to her surroundings and it would be nothing but a disruption for her. They can’t even fill the apartments. I wonder why? Do not recommend to family members, friends or others!
